Palen Rhodes joins LCK as Project Manager

Greenville, SC – LCK, the project management partner of Colliers | South Carolina, proudly announces the addition of Palen Rhodes to its Greenville-Spartanburg team of project management professionals. As a Project Manager for LCK, Palen will be focused on management of high-profile projects as well as business development for the Upstate region.

“Palen brings a wealth of commercial construction experience to augment our team,” said Mickey Layden, President/CEO of LCK. “Having recently relocated to the Greenville-Spartanburg area from Nashville, TN, Rhodes has an extensive background in commercial construction, particularly in delivering complex assignments on heavily restricted sites which will be a tremendous asset for LCK clients.” 

Rhodes joins a statewide team of project management experts currently engaged in a portfolio of projects of more than $750 million in value which extends across North Carolina, South Carolina and Georgia.

LCK takes an integrated approach to project management by coordinating and collaborating with brokerage and property management experts at Colliers to maximize results and value for each project.

I am responsible for a variety of projects ranging from new construction to renovations and tenant improvements. My area of expertise includes financial forecasting and cost tracking, scheduling, dispute resolution, change management, contract negotiations, quality assurance and quality control and constructability reviews. As a Senior Project Manager, I focus on providing our clients the ability to be “hands-off” and trust LCK with their projects, knowing that we will hit our commitments. With an emphasis on preventing problems ahead of time and bringing solutions to the table when unexpected issues arise, I strive to ensure the least amount of variability in a perpetually changing market. 

At LCK, we focus on the creation of successful teams, including aligning LCK’s internal preconstruction, project management and interiors teams with the owner, general contractor, architect and engineers. Ensuring all parties work together seamlessly is paramount to the success of any project.
