Garrett Scott receives national recognition from Society of Industrial and Office Realtors® (SIOR) for top industrial transaction 2019

Scott honored for ±1.3-million-square-foot, $83.7 million deal in Greenville-Spartanburg, South Carolina

Greenville-Spartanburg, SC- Garrett Scott, SIOR, Vice President of Colliers International | South Carolina, has received the Top 5 Industrial Transaction by Square Feet in 2019 award from the Society of Industrial and Office Realtors® (SIOR). 

Scott has also been awarded Largest Dollar Volume Member-to-Member Transaction alongside Mike Demperio, Senior Vice President and Partner Southeast Regional Manager of CRG Real Estate, and Steve Grable, SIOR, Senior Vice President of JLL.

The Top Transaction Awards are presented to the largest sales and lease transactions, ranked by dollar volume, completed by SIOR members worldwide. This year, 500 SIOR members reported 2,575 transactions, totaling more than 147 million square feet and USD $19 billion in leases and sales in the industrial, investment, office, land, alternative assets and redevelopment sectors.

In the awarded transaction, Garrett Scott represented the landlord, CRG Real Estate, in the lease of 1,318,680 square feet of industrial space to a Fortune100 tenant at The Cubes at Inland 85 Building A. The lease represented a total transaction value of $83,748,331 over a term of 15 years. The tenant has announced it will bring more than 150 jobs to the Upstate (Greenville-Spartanburg) of South Carolina.
