Drake Scott joins Colliers as Brokerage Associate in Spartanburg office

Spartanburg, SC – Drake Scott has joined Colliers | South Carolina as a Brokerage Associate in the firm’s Spartanburg office, working with the brokerage team in all asset classes with a focus on industrial properties.

 In his previous role as Main Street Director for the City of Gaffney, he was responsible for recruiting businesses to the downtown area and keeping economic development projects on track. Prior to that, he worked as an industrial equipment and machinery sales specialist, managing clients throughout Greenville, Spartanburg and Cherokee counties.

“Having worked with industrial users throughout his career both in sales and in an economic development capacity, Drake has built an essential knowledge base of the needs and expectations of industrial landlords and tenants throughout the market as well as a strong network of business relationships,” said David Feild, Market President of Colliers’ Greenville and Spartanburg offices. “He provides a unique perspective on local dynamics affecting industrial site selection and tenancy and is able to guide clients through incentive and governmental processes.”

Drake is a graduate of USC Upstate in Spartanburg with a Bachelor of Science degree in Political Science with a focus on urban development and city planning. He volunteers with the KNOW2 organization, a local association of leaders and experts working to address community needs in focus areas like economic success, public health, education and youth outreach. He also serves on the board for the City of Gaffney’s local business generator and incubation program, BGEN.
