Greenville, SC – Colliers International was awarded the leasing assignment for 55 and 75 Beattie Place, commonly referred to as Liberty Square, in August 2018, almost two years after the ownership purchased the iconic office towers.
In the past twelve months, Brantley Anderson and Taylor Allen, CCIM have increased occupancy of One and Two Liberty Square from 71 percent to 95 percent. Greenville’s Central Business District had an 89 percent occupancy rate for Q2 of 2019, six percent lower than Liberty Square.
The buildings make up nearly 500,000 square feet of Class A space in the market, making it one of the largest office developments in Greenville.
“We are excited to achieve the occupancy that the towers haven’t seen over the past decade,” said Allen, Brokerage Associate with Colliers International | South Carolina. “With the Class A office market seeing lots of activity, the Liberty Square towers continue to see a significant amount of leasing momentum.”
Anderson and Allen were also able to secure quality long-term tenants at increased rates from when the property was acquired in 2018.
Anderson and Allen are both members of the Colliers office brokerage team, specializing in landlord and tenant representation throughout the Greenville-Spartanburg region of South Carolina.
