Demonstrating a love for the community, exemplifying the Colliers brand and the desire to grow and improve, the ONE Colliers Award recipient embodies and promotes Colliers’ six core values of integrity, service, collaboration, fun, expertise and community to both the company and in our communities to play a role in unifying the Colliers team as ONE.

Byars is passionate and committed to our community. He serves on the Board of Advisors for The Salvation Army of Greenville, Oconee and Pickens Counties and is an active volunteer teaching a faith-based class to men in a drug and alcohol rehabilitation program in the community. He is a member of ICSC (International Council of Shopping Centers) and serves on the Clemson University Real Estate Association Board and the Greenville Health Authority Board.
In 2020, Byars completed year one of a two-year professional Master of Business Administration program at New York University’s Stern School of Business in Manhattan that requires him to travel to New York City every two weekends.
Byars has been associated with Colliers | South Carolina since 2016. He specializes in retail brokerage, which includes the representation of owners, landlords, buyers and tenants in the purchase and leasing of retail space. He graduated from the University of North Texas, where he earned a Bachelor of Science degree and from Clemson University with a Master of Real Estate Development.
