Giguere, the buyer. The buyer was represented by Collado Real Estate in New Smyrna Beach, FL. The transaction closed on December 27, 2021.
The property consists of three buildings totaling 29,400± SF and was built in 2006 and completed in 2015-2017. The property is located in Southwest Gainesville near the W Newberry Road and NW 75th Street (Tower Road) intersection. The buildings sit on 3.6± acres and were formally the headquarters of Optym. A contiguous vacant land parcel of 6.76± acres is still available for sale.
This is another large office building coming off the market in Gainesville, a trend we have seen repeat since COVID. The resiliency of the office market has been encouraging and we anticipate this activity to continue throughout 2022.
