Gators Enter the Jungle: Gainesville Welcomes Jungle Boys Cannabis Brand with Record Sale

Gainesville, FL - March 14, 2022The Hurst Harrell Team are pleased to announce the sale of 1120 W University Ave to Jungle Boys cannabis dispensary with a $2.25 million sale. This transaction represents a record for the midtown market as the price/square foot attained was the largest for a vacant building that is set to be repurposed in this submarket.

With proximity to University of Florida campus and student apartments, Jungle Boys cannabis dispensary will be joining the midtown strip of Gainesville. Students and residents who have a medical marijuana card will have access to this Los Angeles- based cannabis brand that provides a variety of strains to assist with   medical ailments.

The subject property is located across from the Hub on Campus student apartments, with walking distance to UF, downtown Gainesville, and the Gainesville Innovation District.

This 3,725± square foot restaurant space will be renovated and designed to fit the brand’s atmosphere, while reflecting the local lifestyle of its clientele

Jungle Boys is looking to expand due to the increase in demand for medical marijuana in major college towns like Gainesville.

The Jungle Boys brand has solidified their presence in the cannabis industry as one of the leading brands to sell their products online and in-store. The dispensary offers a variety of strains and seeds in collaborations with other well-known brands.

Born and raised in Jacksonville, Florida, Bennett moved to Gainesville, Florida where he graduated from the University of Florida with a bachelors degree in Food and Resource Economics with a specialization in business management and marketing. Upon Graduating from the University of Florida in 2017, Bennett joined a local boutique real estate firm specializing in both residential and commercial sales and leasing.
