Gatewaypark_Hero Image

Gainesville, Fla. – December 8, 2021 – Colliers’ GNV Commercial Advisory Team has facilitated the sale of six multifamily quadraplexes (24 units) located in Gateway Park of Gainesville, Florida. Acting as transaction broker, Colliers was the only Broker in the deal between Gainesville Home Suites, LLC (the Seller) and Peacock Capital, LLC (the Buyer) in this sale. The transaction closed on December 7, 2021.

Gateway Park is located at the 1800 block of NW 9th Street and NW 10th Street just off NW 16th Avenue. The six immaculately maintained multifamily quadraplex buildings have a total 15,484± SF divided among 24 units and have provided long-term and short-term accommodations since 1991 under the ownership of Gainesville Home Suites, LLC. With their convenient location, beautiful green space and private patios, these properties will be a desired housing option for Gainesville residents, and visitors, well into the future.

“We are thrilled for both the Buyer and Seller in this transaction which came to fruition very fast with no issues. Our team was working under a tight timeline due to a 1031 exchange for the Seller to close on a replacement property before the end of the year, which was successful. The asset fit the Buyers portfolio criteria perfectly and all performed as expected. Congratulations to all involved.”
- Dan Drotos, Senior Director, Colliers
Rory Causseaux, Associate Director, Colliers
Lauren Edwards, Associate, Colliers

“Dan Drotos, and the entire Colliers GNV Advisory team were extremely efficient, well-organized and expertly facilitated our acquisition of this neighborhood multifamily community.  As we continue our strategic growth in central Florida, we look forward to working with Dan again to expand our portfolio of high-quality housing options.”
