As of the end of March, both books have seen instant success as detailed below.
Dan Drotos, Senior Director for Colliers International in Gainesville, FL served as part of the pre-launch teams for two recently published Commercial Real Estate books, “Adapt” and “Knowing Isn’t Doing”. Dan had the privilege of reading the text and providing commentary and reviews to the authors prior to the public release.
Adapt, the second release from Blaine Strickland, CCIM held its full release on March 18th and instantly shot up the Amazon Best Sellers list and currently resides at #2 in the commercial real estate category. The book serves as a deep look into what disruptions are heading towards the commercial real estate industry and details steps on how to navigate these disruptions. Technology, transparency, access to information, freelancing, e-commerce, and the aging out of the Baby Boomers are all addressed. The topic of disruption is more appropriate now as the world deals with COVID-19. Will you be prepared or will you be left behind? Order your copy today on Amazon. On a personal note, Blaine and Dan have known each other since 2012 when Blaine taught Transaction and Market Analysis through the Nathan S. Collier Master of Science in Real Estate program at The University of Florida.
Knowing isn’t Doing
The third release from Rod Santomassimo, CCIM held a soft release of 300 copies on March 11th and sold out before noon. The official launch nationally will happen in October. In Knowing Isn’t Doing, Rod lays out a roadmap for any independent contractor or solopreneurs looking to build a sustainable and thriving business that will enhance ones personal and professional margin. Many of the concepts in this book are derived from the training tools created through Rod’s professional coaching company, The Massimo Group which coaches some of the top producers in Commercial Real Estate around the country. Detailed in the book are the 7-Step Sales Playbook, 3-Tiered Personal Marketing Plan, 4-Part Blueprint for Navigating Opportunities, 3 Key Elements of a Revenue focused Operations plan and much more. The overarching theme is that while knowing what needs to be done is important, taking action, no matter how challenging, is the critical piece. Don’t K.I.D. yourself (Knowing Isn’t Doing). Look for the national launch in October.
