City Mattress purchases land for new store in Cape Coral Commons

City Mattress has purchased a 1.26-acre lot in Cape Coral Commons for a new Cape Coral location. This will be City Mattress’ eighth Southwest Florida location. The property is located at 915 NE 15th Place in Cape Coral.

Dannielle Robinson of Colliers represented the seller, Pine Island Cape Coral FL, LLC, and Mike Concilla of LandQwest Commercial Real Estate represented the buyer.

Cape Coral Commons is a new 13-acre retail development under construction on the northwest corner of Pine Island Road and Del Prado Boulevard in Cape Coral. The developer, Thompson Thrift Retail Group, began construction in April 2020 and expects to complete construction in the third quarter of this year.

Currently, only two lots remain in the development. Current tenants include Tire Kingdom, First Watch, Mission BBQ, Firehouse Subs, Pj’s Coffee, Encore Nail Bar and Love Boat Ice Cream.

Construction on City Mattress is expected to be complete in the third quarter of this year.
