Ashley HomeStore, a furniture store chain with more than 800 locations worldwide, has leased a 48,126-square-foot former Toys R Us building in Madison Heights, Michigan.

Ashley HomeStore, a furniture store chain with more than 800 locations worldwide, has leased a 48,126-square-foot former Toys R Us building in Madison Heights, Michigan.

The single-tenant building at 32700-32766 John R Road was completed in 1970. The single-story property spans 4.6 acres less than 15 miles from downtown Detroit.

Ronald Goldstone and Brandon Ben-Ezra with NAI Farbman represented the landlord, Scandinavian Designs, which originally purchased the building as part of a portfolio in August 2018, CoStar data shows. Brian Whitfield and Brad Murchison with Colliers International represented the tenant in negotiations.
