Ten Colliers brokers were named a Power Broker - the region's top real estate pros

Each year, D CEO recognizes the region’s top real estate pros who generate the most revenue for their companies with the Power Broker Award. This year, 92 firms employing 2,243 licensed brokers participated in the study, with data based on 2020 production numbers. Ten Colliers brokers were awarded Power Broker this year. Members of the 2021 class were celebrated on September 14 at The Bank of America Plaza at an event in their honor.

Chris Teesdale

Chris G. Teesdale is an executive vice president and active member for Colliers Logistics and Transportation Solution Group.  He is a member of the Supply Chain Real Estate Advisors Team with Tom Pearson, SIOR and Brad Balke in the Dallas-Fort Worth office of Colliers International. He is one of North Texas’s most accomplished industrial real estate specialists with more than 40 years’ experience in every area of industrial real estate. 

Chris specializes in the representation of users for industrial properties, including lease and sale negotiations, strategic planning, finance, development, logistics and multi-modal services. His extensive experience enables him to forecast and anticipate industry trends for his clients.

Chris became a certified coach in 2014 and has coached young professionals in Colliers’ Acceleration Program for several years.

Tom is an executive vice president and active member of Colliers’ Logistics and Transportation Solutions Group and a member of the Supply Chain Real Estate Advisors Team with Chris Teesdale, SIOR and Brad Balke in the Dallas-Fort Worth office of Colliers International. His 40-year industrial real estate career spans every facet of industrial real estate. 

Tom played a key role in handling the national relocation of the distribution center for a Fortune 100 company in addition to selling and leasing significant properties in multiple markets for some of the largest corporations in the United States.

Prior to joining Colliers in 2006, Tom worked at Cushman & Wakefield as a senior director, member of the Capital Markets Group and the Industrial Group.

With over 17 years of experience, Ward has developed an unparalleled understanding of Supply Chain Real Estate strategy via negotiating 1000+ transactions, globally, in 50+ cities while generating tens of millions in value for his customers. Ward enjoys reading, writing and speaking about CRE, eCommerce and the logistics industry. He hosts the Truckin’ On podcast and has been featured on other podcasts like the GaryVee Audio Experience, The Cardone Zone and Supply Chain Now. Ward also has been interviewed by multiple publications including the Wall Street Journal and has been a featured speaker at multiple real estate and logistics conferences around the globe.

Ward is currently on the steering committee for the Colliers Logistics & Transportation Solutions Group and an active member of the IWLA and the Texas Warehouse Association. 

Ward is a life long athlete having played collegiate football and rugby. He has completed three Ironman triathlons. He currently practices meditation, hot yoga and is passionate about biohacking and mental health.

Geoff Ficke

Geoff Ficke serves as Executive Vice President and is a member of the Institutional Capital Markets Group of Colliers International.  Mr. Ficke focuses on the acquisition, disposition and capitalization of CTL, GSA and NNN properties and portfolios throughout the country. Mr. Ficke’s primary focus is representing sellers of investment grade assets leased to the federal government and other national credit tenants.  Throughout Mr. Ficke's career he has closed transactions valued at more than $1,400,000,000 ($1.4 Billion) in 44-states. 

Prior to joining Colliers International, Mr. Ficke served as Senior Vice President and Senior National Director of Marcus and Millichap's Office and Industrial Properties and Net Lease Properties Groups.  For over ten consecutive years he ranked in the top 10 in total production nationally within the National Office and Industrial Properties Group and consistently a top 20 perfomer in the Net Lease Properties Group. 

Mr. Ficke leads a 10 person team thats success has hinged upon the relationships formed with private investors, developers, institutional investors, public REITs, private equity funds, off-shore investors, syndicates, as well as brokers from other national and regional brokerage firms. Billy Vahrenkamp

Billy specializes in consulting and representing corporate clients in all aspects of managing their real estate. He is responsible for managing client relationships, developing new business, and executing on transactions for his team.

A year later, he joined the corporate services advisory team as a senior associate at the Trammell Crow Company. In 2006, Trammell Crow Company merged with CBRE and he continued his tenure there as a senior associate. Prior to joining Colliers International in June 2011, he was an associate vice president at Grubb & Ellis Company.

Will Haynes

Will Haynes, II is a Managing Director in the Dallas-Fort Worth office of Colliers International in its Office Occupier Services Group. Will also leads the North Texas Education Services Practice Group.

Will focuses on advising clients on all aspects of their real estate needs with a primary concentration on Educational and Corporate organizations.

He has gained considerable knowledge, experience, and expertise in the education real estate market by performing multiple sales and lease transactions for K-12 and post-secondary institutions.

Will’s various assignments include consulting and strategic planning, lease negotiations; portfolio management; acquisition, and disposition of real estate.

Prior to joining Colliers International in 2016, Will was a Vice President at Emmitt Smith Realty Partners in Dallas. He began his career in the banking industry and transitioned to real estate in 2009, where he specialized in acquisitions and dispositions of multi-family properties in Dallas-Fort Worth.

Will is a graduate of Manhattan College in New York, where he played NCAA Men’s Division I Basketball in the Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference (MAAC).
