Bibibop Asian Grill will offer its first full-service drive-thru option in Delaware County.
The site will sit at the new Shoppes at Olentangy Crossing development off of U.S. route 23, which has also signed Tropical Smoothie Cafe and Walk-In Urgent Care to leases, according to a news release. The two-building retail development is under construction and will offer up to seven retail spaces.
“We are beyond excited to share Bibibop’s message of well-being with this city, plus introduce our new full-service drive-thru option to the Ohio market," Charlie Shin, Bibibop founder and CEO, said in the release.
Earlier this year, Bibibop opened its first Hilliard location. Parent company Gosh Enterprises also recently purchased the Tree of Life building in Upper Arlington, where it plans to move its corporate office.
Bucyrus, Ohio-based J&F Construction and Development is developing the retail site. The company develops warehousing, medical facilities, churches, retail, manufacturing, educational and other commercial properties, according to its website.
Steve Bridgford, vice president at J&F, said the Bibibop and the Walk-In Urgent Care will occupy the south building, which has one additional tenant space available of about 2,200 square feet.
The Tropical Smoothie Cafe will occupy the north building, which has three available tenant spaces at this time, Bridgford. The spaces range around 2,300-2,400 square feet each.
"Anytime you have a new facility and you already have spaces leased out, obviously it's good for cash flow, good for the area," Bridgford told Columbus Business First.
The Shoppes at Olentangy Crossing will sit at 6547-6579 Artesian Run in Lewis Center.
Bridgford said hopes to begin construction in the beginning of 2022, with tenant buildouts in the early summer or late spring.
Gilli Zofan, Andrew White and Samantha Starkoff of Colliers are leasing the space.
