Charleston/Columbia/Greenville/Spartanburg, SC - Colliers | South Carolina partnered with Holy City Brewing to create a custom Carolina Kolsch-style beer called “The Dealmaker” to celebrate its 115 years in the commercial real estate business in South Carolina.

The company sought to create something that was unique to Colliers and embraced the company culture and love for South Carolina.

“I can’t think of a more fun and unique way to celebrate than by creating our own exclusive beer,” said John Folsom, President and CEO for Colliers | South Carolina.

The commercial real estate company has offices in Charleston, Columbia, Greenville and Spartanburg, SC, which are all reflected in the final product.

“Charleston is represented through our partnership with Holy City Brewing,” said Folsom. “The artwork was created by a local artist out of Columbia, Cait Maloney, and the hints of peach flavor are a nod to Spartanburg and Greenville, which produce the majority of peaches out of South Carolina. The beer also has an effervescent feel, which makes it taste celebratory.”

Over the past few months, Colliers worked with Holy City Brewing to develop the flavor.

“The Dealmaker is a light Kolsch-style beer that was brewed with Carolina Gold rice and has hints of peach,” said Chris Brown, Owner and Production Manager at Holy City Brewing. “Carolina Gold rice imparts a ton of great flavor, making a nice crisp, clean lager.”

“The local artist who designed the art featured on the can really embraced our vision,” said Liz McCary, Vice President of Marketing for Colliers | South Carolina. “What we love most about the design is every time you look, you see something new. Each of our offices’ cities is represented along with some fun landmarks unique to South Carolina. Additionally, you will see the Keenan Fountain which was given on Colliers’ 100-year anniversary to the Columbia Museum of Art. The artwork will also hang in each of Colliers’ four offices to remember the event."

To celebrate its anniversary and launch of “The Dealmaker,” Colliers held a company-wide virtual celebration where a toast was made by the President and CEO John W. Folsom.  Additionally, each employee was gifted commemorative beers to remember their piece of the company’s 115-year success. Colliers will use the beer for special events, client gifts and more throughout the year. The Dealmaker will be available in the taproom at Holy City Brewing for a limited time.
