Sage International expands at Weston-owned 103 Lachicotte Road in Lugoff

Columbia, SC – Sage International has expanded its footprint at 103 Lachicotte Road in Lugoff, SC. The metals supplier originally signed a lease in 2021 for 45,197 square feet in the building but was able to expand to the entire 121,017 square feet of the building in 2022 when it became available due to the growth of its business as a supplier for Trane. 

Colliers | South Carolina’s Chuck Salley, SIOR, Dave Mathews, SIOR, Thomas Beard, SIOR and John Peebles represented Weston Inc. in the expansion. The Colliers team was also instrumental in a key component of the transaction: finding a tenant to sublease a portion of the expansion space until Sage was ready to fill the entire building.

Sage is an international supplier of manufactured products and metal forming, casting and stamping services. According to the company’s website, Sage recently expanded its reach through the acquisition of U.S.-based Trident Components LLC, which is known for its metal casting, metal forming and plastic moulding capabilities; and Jayco Manufacturing, recognized for its metal forming, powder coating and rapid prototyping expertise.

103 Lachicotte Road is part of Weston’s Southeast Industrial Properties portfolio. Weston is a Cleveland-based commercial real estate owner and developer with nearly 7 million square feet in assets in South Carolina, making it one of the largest privately held industrial landlords in the state.
