I am a Managing Director of Colliers | South Carolina in the Spartanburg office, specializing in industrial buildings, industrial land and tenant representation. 

My experience includes master-planning and developing thousands of acres of real estate as well as attracting significant economic development projects worth billions of dollars and thousands of jobs including Toray Carbon Fibers, Ritrama, Kobelco, Keurig Dr. Pepper, Magna Seating and Techtronics Industries.

With more than 30 years’ experience in brokerage and industrial development in the Upstate of South Carolina and beyond, I offer expert advice and a unique perspective which gives my clients the edge in a competitive market. 

My experience includes the planning, acquisition and implementation of more than 31 industrial parks in key manufacturing and distribution markets. In addition, I have been responsible for the development of more than 38 million square feet of industrial space including Class A manufacturing, automotive supply, warehouse, logistics fulfillment and e-commerce related facilities. 

More than 140 clients have relied on me to manage the start-up and implementation of their facilities. This background brings invaluable experience and understanding which allows me to meet the needs of tenants, developers and investors “from dock-door to C-suite”.

As a Vice President in the Greenville, SC office, I specialize in office leasing and sales. My primary responsibility is to represent local ownership entities, private equity groups and national REITS on their real estate portfolio in the Greenville-Spartanburg market, also known as the Upstate. Working through acquisitions, repositioning, leasing and disposition, our team delivers innovative solutions to both landlord and tenants alike.

My strength is providing creative solutions to our firm’s clients, including landlords, tenants and investors by incorporating local expertise while leveraging the Colliers platform. Bringing value to every transaction is my goal, and I can accomplish this goal through creativity and a strategic approach.

As a Vice President in the Greenville, SC office, I specialize in office leasing and sales as well as tenant representation. My primary responsibility is to represent local ownership entities, private equity groups and national REITS on their real estate portfolios in the Upstate (Greenville-Spartanburg). Working through acquisitions, repositioning, leasing and disposition, our team delivers comprehensive leasing strategies and innovative solutions to landlord clients. Utilizing a marketing background, I am able to think creatively and provide effective solutions for rebranding and repositioning assets in our portfolio, maximizing the potential of each property and positioning clients for success. Our innovative property marketing, financial analyses and thoughtful comprehensive leasing strategies are best in class.

My team is responsible for the leasing of over 1,500,000 square feet of office properties in the market. 

Since 2015, my team has completed more than $500 million in transactional volume.

I specialize in leasing, user sales and investment sales of industrial properties.

Since a young age, I have had a profound interest in and exposure to commercial real estate. I have long found industrial brokerage to be intriguing because it serves as the foundation of many different types of businesses and processes. It is very rewarding to have the opportunity to play a role in the goals and progress of each of our clients as a trusted industrial services advisor.

I provide both tenant and landlord representation for clients in the sale, leasing and disposition of industrial properties across Charleston and the Lowcountry region of South Carolina. Whether I am negotiating critical terms in a lease for a tenant or consulting an owner or landlord in the sale or leasing of their space, my role is to meet my client’s real estate and financial goals, both for today and into the future.

Brockton Hall is a Vice President with Colliers International in the Greenville and Spartanburg offices. He is a member of the Upstate industrial team along with long-time real estate professionals, Garrett Scott and John Montgomery. This team specializes in the needs of industrial landlords and occupiers throughout the Southeast. 

Hall comes from a commercial construction background with years of experience in the commercial sector working on projects including K-12, office and institutional. He also has significant renovation and retrofitting experience. His construction background allows him to assist occupiers with their building specifications and advise them during the build-to-suit and new construction process. For developers and investors, he is well-equipped to advise on construction-related issues involved in tenant upfits, value-add projects and new development.

Serving as a Shareholder of the company, my specific areas of brokerage expertise include landlord/seller and tenant/buyer representation for land, retail and investment properties. I also have significant experience advising and consulting with financial institutions on troubled assets and OREO.

The most rewarding part of my job is identifying either a problem and solving it or recognizing an opportunity and capitalizing on it. This is a strength that translates into real estate solutions for my clients that not only accomplish the goal set forth, but also exceed their expectations and set a path for continuous business growth. I am very straightforward in my approach to real estate and interacting with clients, always handling a deal for the client’s wants and best interests first and foremost. 

I specialize in the sale of various investment property types throughout South Carolina as well as development parcels located in the Lowcountry.

Most of my clients are investors and developers many of which are institutional and high net worth individuals. My market knowledge, analytical nature, relationship network and experience in the industry are what sets me apart from other commercial real estate brokers. I pride myself on being able to present options and recommendations that suit both sides of a transaction. 

I find my job to be rewarding when a client sees the value that I delivered to a transaction, they have recognized my work as an integral component of their success, and they acknowledge that my services have exceeded their expectations. 

Originally from Cleveland, Ohio, I spent years as a C-suite finance executive for various industrial companies. I then moved to Naples, Florida to become the Chief Financial Officer for a family office with a substantial commercial real estate portfolio with assets ranging from office parks to flex industrial to beachfront resort hotels.

I moved to Charleston in 2003; prior to joining Colliers, I was a First Vice President with CBRE for 16 years, specializing in land and investment property sales.

As part of the Colliers platform of services, I serve both tenants and landlords with their respective industrial  needs. I assist tenants with comprehensive site selection, acquisitions and dispositions and lease negotiations. In addition, I offer similar services to institutional landlords, which include strategic planning, detailed reporting and market analysis, marketing and lease/sale negotiations. I work with an integral team and find that our teamwork is one of our biggest advantages in completing deals for our clients that exceed their expectations.

Working in industrial brokerage, I have the opportunity to see the vast progress of companies and help to play a part in a client’s business development. I find that, for me, success is finding the best possible outcome for a client within their constraints and knowing that I have brought significant value to their growth.
