Colliers South Carolina and LCK announce 2021 company awards

Charleston / Columbia / Greenville / Spartanburg, SC – Colliers | South Carolina and LCK presented 2021 awards at the company’s annual celebration which was held at Riverbanks Zoo on March 9, 2022.

The 2021 ONE Colliers Award was presented to Grant Butler, Property Manager in the company’s Columbia office. Demonstrating a love for the community, exemplifying the Colliers brand and the desire to grow and improve, the ONE Colliers Award recipient embodies and promotes Colliers’ six core values of integrity, service, collaboration, fun, expertise and community to both the company and in our communities to play a role in unifying the Colliers team as ONE.

“Through his consistent collaboration across our Colliers teams, Grant ensures that our clients’ experiences are seamless integrated services, bringing creative ideas and solutions to exceed our clients’ expectations,” said Debbie Lane, Senior Vice President of Real Estate Management Services for Colliers | South Carolina. “He supports our community to improve the lives of others and shares his knowledge, kindness and wit inside and outside of Colliers.”

The Service Excellence Award was presented to Joan Beardsley, Lease Administrator in the company’s Columbia office. The award recognizes a team or an individual which delivers services of outstanding quality, creativity, geographic reach and unique collaboration and inspires others to provide the same level of superior service to our clients. This individual goes “above and beyond” by making the most of their expertise and resources to solve complex challenges while creating memorable and successful outcomes for their clients and colleagues. 

“Joan truly places our company and our clients first and that defines her work ethic and professionalism. She shares her expertise broadly with our brokers, property accountants, property managers and other teammates,” said Kim Butler, Vice President of Real Estate Management Services and Manager of Columbia REMS for Colliers | South Carolina. “Most importantly, Joan does so to benefit of our clients, ensuring that our work product is flawless.” 

The Innovation Award was presented to Adam Lynch, Director of Preconstruction Services, and Satyam Pachori, Assistant Project Manager, in LCK’s Columbia office. The award recognizes and honors revolutionary actions resulting in incremental or radical advancement in thinking, processes or outcomes while promoting collaboration, service and operational excellence, innovation and fun. 
“Adam and Satyam voluntarily developed a web-based platform to enhance the efficiency and accuracy of managing LCK projects and to improve access to project data for our clients,” said Mickey Layden, President/CEO of LCK. “This tool has been a game changer for project managers and the reception from our clients has been phenomenal.”

The Rising Star Award recognizes team members who have been with the company less than three years. Recipients have excelled in their position and in service to clients, exhibit the core values of the company, are active in the community in which they work and live, and continue to enhance their position by striving to learn more through educational opportunities. As a Property Manager for Colliers International | South Carolina, I specialize in managing industrial properties and specifically a portfolio of assets owned by real estate investor Weston, Inc. I develop property budgets, implement cost-effective solutions for repairs and ensure that preventative maintenance practices are utilized to extend the lifespan of properties.

Joan Beardsley

Lease Administrator


As a Lease Administrator, I am responsible for performing lease analysis, preparing lease abstracts, accounting for and processing operating expense escalation charges, information management, operating expense review and document storage and maintenance. I also perform administrative functions to ensure compliance with lease terms, and tracking financial obligations.

I have always been a very detail-conscious person and enjoy the process of making sure that all the I’s are dotted and T’s are crossed. I enjoy producing an accurate, quality product that I can be proud of and knowing I have covered everything. I have past experience working for the government that helps bring unique perspective to my common challenges. I am able to look at a situation through different eyes as well as understand many different legal aspects surrounding situations.

Adam Lynch

Director | Preconstruction Services


As a Director of Preconstruction Services, my efforts at LCK are focused on the front-end phases of project management.  My expertise in due diligence, site analysis, budgeting and cost management is leveraged to accelerate the planning, design and procurement stages of our projects.  

I have the ability to prepare comprehensive development budgets and line-item estimates with a high degree of accuracy at all design phases of a project, which means that our clients can plan their projects with confidence from the beginning and rely on us to monitor the project and program budgets throughout all design iterations.

I have provided cost management services both as an owner’s project manager and independent cost consultant, giving me a unique perspective that serves as a value add to LCK clients.  I take pride in focusing on accuracy and detail-orientation while leading teams through the design and procurement process.  Nothing pleases me more than working closely with clients and seeing their vision become reality.

Satyam Pachori

Project Manager


As a Project Manager for LCK, I am part of the preconstruction services and project management team. My expertise is in project administration, preconstruction, estimating and facilities management. I bring a keen attention to detail to each project that allows me to conduct plan reviews and take-offs for cost estimating, manage project schedules, maintain records and minutes of job-site meetings and perform quality inspections of construction activities and generate comprehensive reports on the performance of project activities. 

I am proficient in low voltage systems for new and existing buildings along with due diligence and property assessments. 

I pride myself on building and maintaining relationships with clients and contractors to effectively manage preconstruction and on-site activities and performance oversight. I focus on meticulously completing each task, whether small or large, and being optimistic and enthusiastic about my work. It is my goal to always meet my client’s expectations and ensure those expectations are clearly communicated to the project team members with whom I work.
