Columbia, SC – Colliers International’s Kim Butler was named a 2016 Honoree Recipient of the Palmetto Center for Women Honors. The award recognizes women whose outstanding achievements distinguish them as leaders and role models in the community. Butler joins over 700 women who have been honored since the award’s founding in 1980.
Butler, who works in Colliers South Carolina’s Real Estate Management Services division (REMS), is the Vice President of REMS | South Carolina and Manager of REMS | Columbia. After joining Colliers as a Property Manager in 2006, her outstanding work and dedication to her clients’ properties led to her repeated promotions, and she now oversees property managers in Columbia and is responsible for the implementation of best practices across the company’s statewide portfolio. She has been the recipient of Colliers South Carolina’s 2009, 2011 and 2014 Management Services Award, as well as the 2011 President’s Award for superior achievement. Outside of the office, Butler recently served on the Columbia South Carolina City Center Partnership Public Space Committee member and is currently an active member of Bethel Lutheran Church.
“To be an Honor Recipient for this award certainly says a great deal about Kim and her commitment to her clients and her community,” said Debbie Lane, Senior Vice President of REMS | SC. “We are very proud of Kim.
