Colliers International | South Carolina brokers inducted into Colliers’ highly regarded Everest Club


Columbia / Greenville / Spartanburg, SC – John Montgomery, Chuck Salley, SIOR and Garrett Scott, SIOR of Colliers International | South Carolina have been named to the 2019 Everest Awards. The Everest Club recognizes Colliers professionals in the United States based on revenue production.

All three commercial real estate brokers are Vice Presidents and shareholders of Colliers | South Carolina and specialize in industrial brokerage. This is the third year in a row that Salley and Scott have been recognized with this achievement.

Montgomery is a Vice President and shareholder of the company based in the firm’s Spartanburg office. With his breadth of experience in master-planned communities, retail, residential, commercial and industrial development projects, he guides clients through the development process from inception through lease-up.

Salley is Vice President and Director of the Industrial Brokerage Team in Columbia and is a shareholder of the company. He will celebrate his 40th year with the company in 2020. He specializes in representing industrial landlords, tenants, buyers and sellers in leasing, sales, build-to-suit, site selection and acquisition, investment sales and consulting.

Scott is Vice President and a shareholder of the company in the firm’s Spartanburg office. He specializes in the leasing, sales and development advisory services for industrial properties across the Greenville-Spartanburg market. He provides clients with a unique perspective to their real estate decisions, focusing not only on the transaction but also on maximizing the operational attributes of properties he represents.

I have been with Colliers since 1981 and have completed over 1,500 transactions in my career. I am an expert in the industrial market and am proud to have represented many national and international companies with their real estate needs in the greater Columbia market. I have also provided valuable consulting work, site acquisition and leasing services for many national developers including: Magnus Development Partners, Scannell Properties, Collett Industrial, Panatonni Development, Red Rock Development, Kirco and Miller Valentine Group.

Garrett Scott

With more than 30 years’ experience in brokerage and industrial development in the Upstate of South Carolina and beyond, I offer expert advice and a unique perspective which gives my clients the edge in a competitive market. 

My experience includes the planning, acquisition and implementation of more than 31 industrial parks in key manufacturing and distribution markets. In addition, I have been responsible for the development of more than 38 million square feet of industrial space including Class A manufacturing, automotive supply, warehouse, logistics fulfillment and e-commerce related facilities.
