Colliers International South Carolina announces ONE Colliers Award recipient

Columbia, SC – Colliers International | South Carolina is pleased to announce the 2019 ONE Colliers Award was presented to Elizabeth Turner, Senior Marketing Coordinator in the Columbia office. Exemplifying collaboration, having a voice, demonstrating a love for the Colliers brand and wanting to grow and improve, the ONE Colliers Award recipient embodies and promotes Colliers International’s six core values of integrity, service, collaboration, fun, expertise and community to both the Company and in our community to play a role in unifying the Colliers team as ONE.

“Elizabeth has played a critical role in unifying the statewide marketing team of our four cities into one cohesive group while developing cohesion among our new brokers into the Colliers culture,” said John Folsom, President and CEO of for Colliers International South Carolina. “She is a problem solver and works to resolve challenges and concerns, not just on an individual broker level but company-wide.”

She demonstrated her commitment to expertise in 2019 when she completed the Commercial Property Marketing Certification program through Colliers University, a rigorous set of courses covering a variety of topics and training designed to enhance the Colliers marketing platform.

Turner is passionate and committed to our community. She is on the Junior Achievement of Greater South Carolina’s Young Professionals Auxiliary Board and is an active volunteer teaching JA programs in local schools. She is a member of CREW Midlands (Commercial Real Estate Women) and COR (Columbia Opportunity Resource). She serves on Colliers International | South Carolina’s annual United Way Campaign committee and is a member of the United Way of the Midlands Young Leader’s Society (YLS), where she is on the Be A Book Bunny Committee, an initiative to provide books for children over their summer breaks.

Turner has been with Colliers | South Carolina since 2017. She specializes in creating and executing innovative marketing strategies and providing support to the Colliers team of brokerage associates and our clients. She graduated from the University of South Carolina where she earned a Bachelor of Arts in Journalism and Mass Communications and a major in Public Relations.

As a Marketing Manager, I create and manage multifaceted marketing strategies and brand awareness campaigns through digital advertising, visual and written content, website development, social media and media relations. 

Working with the company’s four offices, I manage content posted to our website; review external and internal communications; manage media relations operations; maintain the database of contacts used for property email marketing and media relations; compile and distribute marketing campaign reports internally and for clients; develop staff profiles for new employees; and organize sponsorships and events. 

Additionally, I provide marketing expertise to the Colliers industrial brokerage team in Columbia, including the preparation of proposals, GIS mapping and integrated property marketing campaigns.
