Colliers and LCK offices across South Carolina pioneer a statewide United Way United Colliers campaign

Charleston/Columbia/Greenville/Spartanburg – Colliers International | South Carolina and LCK staff and associates have pledged $86,445 in contributions to Trident United Way, United Way of the Midlands, United Way of Greenville County and United Way of the Piedmont. The pledges reflect a per capita contribution of $692 and are a 17% increase from the company’s United Way fundraising campaigns across the state last year.

This year, Colliers and LCK launched the United Way United Colliers campaign, a collective movement to synchronize volunteer efforts and donations for United Way organizations located in the same markets as Colliers International’s and LCK’s four South Carolina offices.

“Our relationship with United Way is so dear to us at Colliers and LCK,” said John Folsom, President and CEO of Colliers International | South Carolina. “Two of our company’s six core values are “community” and “service” and we consistently encourage our team members to give back to our local communities with their time, talents and treasures. We are proud of our collective efforts to touch the lives of our families, friends and neighbors fighting to break down the barriers to success. This is what it means to be a United Colliers.”

The two-week giving campaign was kicked-off by a virtual gathering of the four offices and the release of a video produced in-house that features Colliers and LCK staff sharing what the United Way, “community” and “service” mean to them: https://vimeo.com/363840564

Colliers and LCK also held a statewide Day of Service, allowing team members to step away from their daily tasks and to give back to local nonprofits with their time and energy. 97 staff and associates served a total of 298 hours for six United Way partner agencies across the state: Florence Crittenton Programs, Homeless No More, Salvation Army of Columbia, The Lourie Center, Salvation Army of Greenville, Pickens and Oconee, and Habitat for Humanity of Spartanburg.

The United Way United Colliers campaign was the first of its kind in the history of Colliers International | South Carolina and LCK and is a true benchmark in the philanthropic efforts of the company.
