Colliers | South Carolina announces Real Estate Management Services staff promotions

I am a commercial property management professional with over 25 years of experience providing physical and financial management for a variety of property types including single tenant facilities, multi-tenant office, medical and retail properties. With additional experience of managing tenant improvements, capital expenses and new construction projects, I approach each property with a holistic view, thereby offering an owner value-add advice in an effort to increase value for the asset.

In my current role as a Property Manager with Colliers International, I am responsible for overseeing building operations and maintenance, budget and expense control, contract negotiations, and vendor management. I also serve as the tenant liaison for each property providing quality customer service for the tenant and the property owners. I am a natural problem solver with a desire to help and serve people. My goal is to preserve and improve the owner’s asset, while maintaining a pleasant and comfortable place for tenants to work.

I focus on the management of retail shopping centers as well as leasing responsibilities for small shop space. As a CPM®, I have skills in asset management with an emphasis on investment analysis and maximizing return on investment to each assignment. I pride myself on understanding my clients’ goals and objectives and bringing a straightforward approach to my work with them. When my tenants and clients feel successful in achieving their goal for their space, I know that I have succeeded.

I have a broad spectrum of experience in commercial property services, having specialized in management and leasing of commercial properties since 2000. I have also managed portfolios of commercial mixed-use, retail, office and industrial properties.

Because of my vast experience in property management, very little happens to rattle me. As a Senior Property Manager for Colliers International | South Carolina, I take great pride in accomplishing the goals of ownership and creating an atmosphere where business owners can be successful. I feel that service is the primary thing that can set property management companies apart so promptly addressing issues and concerns of both the property owners and the clients who are renting space is high on my list of priorities. I always try and approach everything with the same attitude and response as I would expect if I were on the other end. I strongly live by the saying, “treat others as you want to be treated.” 
I look at each accomplishment, no matter how small, as a win for everyone. Successes don’t always have to equate to financial gains or tangible material items. Sometimes bringing a smile to someone having a bad day is just as important as being financially profitable. When I leave at the end of the day, if things are in a better position than when I walked into the office, it is a successful day.

I am a Property Manager in Colliers International | South Carolina’s office in Greenville. My responsibilities include the management of an office and industrial portfolio in the upstate of S.C. Responsibilities included site visits to properties to meet tenants, vendors or contractors, observing and reporting on property conditions and completing projects as needed. I enjoy working in the commercial real estate management industry because it allows me to apply my eye for detail to ensure that even the smallest details are properly addressed.

My strengths include being a resourceful organizer, motivational leader, quick learner and composed under pressure. I have extensive experience performing on time and under budget for owners. I am very results-oriented, focusing on productivity and measurable outcomes which contribute to a client’s profitability. I enjoy building relationships with all types of people and finding solutions for clients’ visions to be fulfilled.

I began my association with Colliers International in 2014 and bring more than 28 years of property management expertise to my assignments. I believe that with my strong credentials and my results-oriented management style, I can ensure that properties receive the best maintenance and care at the right cost. I am services-driven and have earned complements and business referrals from tenants and owners due to my commitment to excellence and ability to deliver high-quality management. 

I enjoy solving problems for tenants and owners while building relationships with them throughout the process. I am a people person and use communication and follow-up to efficiently deliver solutions for my clients’ needs. I bring a unique perspective to property management, as I have worked with all property types and experienced a variety of commercial real estate situations, where I leverage my expertise to solve problem.
