Colliers Cincinnati Expands; Welcoming Two New Marketing Associates

Colliers consciously builds culture as it embraces new talents, Emily Thomas, and Janine Mason

The ever-growing Colliers Greater Cincinnati office is ecstatic to announce the onboarding of two new additional marketing associates, Emily Thomas, and Janine Mason, who started September 20th, 2021.

 

"We are excited to have Janine and Emily join Colliers,” said Marketing Director, Catherine Williams, who has patiently sought the additions, “Since the beginning of last year our main goal has been to expand our team and to give both our agents, and our clients, Class A marketing and resources.”

 

Catherine approached the hiring process with tack, persistence, and a clear vision. “As leaders, it is our job to fill positions with the perfect candidate to create fluency, transparency, and trust within our office,” stated Catherine.

 

Colliers Greater Cincinnati is confident both Emily and Janine are “the perfect candidate,” and cannot wait to see how each of them grows in their position. Emily and Janine’s upbeat spirit, propensity for collaboration, and extensive knowledge of marketing platforms will be an asset to both the marketing team and the brokers she represents.

 

Filling positions with their rightful match, like Emily and Janine, requires a thorough understanding of the involved teams’ needs, as well as an acute vision for the office culture and the end objective of accelerating their client’s success. Catherine Williams started her career with Colliers International at the Greater Cincinnati & Dayton offices in 2017. Starting off as a marketing specialist and being responsible for establishing a strategic marketing plan for actively listed properties, developing property collateral, assembling presentations, and assisting in day-to-day administrative tasks. Catherine has since been promoted to the Director of Marketing and Public Relations based on her strong work ethic, team work performance and her commitment to the company.

As the Director of Marketing & Public Relations for the Greater Cincinnati and Dayton offices, Catherine has overall responsibility for the marketing and brokerage support teams. She oversees the strategic direction of marketing and public relations for all service lines delivery and corporate efforts. Catherine not only leads the development of the overall strategy for the firm but also leads the execution of it. She works in line and collaborates with the Director of Research, Loren DeFilippo, to maximize the impact of the regions research material for promotion of the offices and the Colliers brand as a whole. 

Catherine is what you would call a mediator and a defender- she is always eager to help a good cause and is very dedicated for the people she works with. She has always been one to include and relate to those around her; Catherine does not see the difference in others instead she recognizes and cultivates the potential in them.

Emilie Gunn joined Colliers International as a Marketing Assistant with the Greater Cincinnati office in 2020. Emilie supports the Retail and Dayton office teams with various projects and assignments, including day-to-day marketing tasks and the creation and development of presentations, Offering Memorandums, Broker Opinions of Value, Social Media Strategy and Marketing Plans.

Janine Mason joined Colliers International as a Marketing Assistant with the Greater Cincinnati office in 2021. Janine supports the office sector with a focus in healthcare services. She is responsible for an assortment of marketing tasks and designing collateral for tenants and landlords alike.

Emily Thomas

Emily Thomas joined Colliers International as a Marketing Associate with the Greater Cincinnati office in 2021. Emily supports the Industrial team with various projects and assignments, including day-to-day marketing tasks.

Emily is a creative communicator with a strong attention to detail. She is well-versed in AP style writing and proficient in design mediums such as Adobe Illustrator, InDesign and Photoshop. Emily has honed her skills working in various industries throughout her professional development. She has developed marketing campaigns for ION Television, created digital content for divisions of UF Health, and drove communications with clients at a budding law firm.
