Colliers | Charlotte is pleased to welcome Mark Simmons as Director of Development Services. Mark joins our team, as we continue to strategize our development, construction, and property management services throughout the Carolinas. As Director of Development Services, Mark will oversee the growth of the Charlotte Development Services team. He will target all market groups with specific focus on Multi-family, Commercial Office, Retail, and Industrial Build-to-Suit developments.  Mark will lead the team through the entire development project roadmap, guiding the team from the initial project concept through final items and close-out. 

I am most excited about his experience which brings a wealth of knowledge in construction and business leadership. Combined with new hire Karl Lee in Raleigh, his addition to our team will bring about formidable project construction management services throughout the Carolinas. – Greg Main-Baillie

Mark brings more than 25 years of project management experience spending time in New York City and Washington, DC prior to settling in Charlotte. Over the past 4 years as Project Executive with Danforth Construction he was responsible for oversight of all Pre-Construction and Project Management operations.  Mark is a seasoned executive with vast community knowledge and contacts. He managed new business development, existing relationship growth, and brand advancement. Mark has proven capability managing large-scale commercial projects with excellent interpersonal skills and exceptional service.

Katie manages content posted to our website, reviews external and internal communications, manages media relations operations, maintains the database of contacts used for property email marketing and media relations, compiles and distributes marketing campaign reports internally and for clients, develops staff profiles for new employees, and organizes sponsorships and events.

Prior to Colliers, Katie worked as Marketing Coordinator at Collett for over eight years, she understands the transactional process from start to finish. She has designed visual pieces including flyers, offering memorandums, broker opinion of values, case studies, custom websites and various other visual pieces needed to accomplish market exposure.
