Local dry cleaner leases space off of East Bay street
“East Bay Cleaners had a unique set of needs for a new location. It’s very rare in an urban area to find space with a drive-thru and curbside pickup. They needed to find a new space and be able to reopen within two months. We were able to find an off-market space that met their criteria in only two weeks,” said Patrick Nealon, Brokerage Associate with Colliers | South Carolina.
The economic impacts of COVID-19 have driven retailers to provide contactless or low-contact options for their customers. “It was important to us that our new location allowed our customers to feel safe while supporting a local business,” said Sandy Weaver from East Bay Cleaners. “We also wanted to provide convenience to our customers by offering curbside service to avoid the congestion of a busy parking lot. Thanks to Patrick, we are already seeing success at our new location.”
