Colliers International awarded assignment for sublease of two floors at 201 Sigma Drive

Up to 35,000 square feet of Class A office space in the desirable Nexton mixed-use development now available for sublease, including 25,000 square feet with state-of-the-art, modern furniture.

Charleston, SC – Colliers International’s Mark Erickson, SIOR has been awarded the assignment for marketing and subleasing two floors totaling 35,000 square feet of office space in 201 Sigma Drive, a Class A, LEED® Gold office building in the Nexton mixed-use development. The floors can be subdivided, with suites starting from 4,000 square feet.

“This is a unique opportunity for office users in the Summerville and Charleston markets,” said Erickson, Vice President with Colliers International | South Carolina. “Whether you want a full floor, fully-furnished and move-in ready, or you want a smaller suite of shell space and generous tenant allowance, we can accommodate a variety of users in this space.”

The Nexton development has garnered significant interest in the Charleston market, with companies including SCRA and Aeterna Zentaris locating their operations in the development. Located in Summerville and close to Interstate 26, the mixed-use development is one of the few in South Carolina to offer GigaFi™, with internet speeds over 100 times faster than the average internet connection. 201 Sigma Drive, as part of Nexton, is within walking distance of restaurants, hotels, daycare and retail amenities, and offers proximity to Boeing and Mercedes-Daimler. Additionally, the property offers ample free parking, a rare amenity in the Charleston office market.

“We expect significant interest in these suites at 201 Sigma Drive and look forward to bringing another notable tenant to the Nexton development,” added Erickson.

Erickson is an industrial and office specialist in the Charleston market, representing both landlords and tenants in the sale, leasing and disposition of industrial and office properties across the Lowcountry region of South Carolina.
