ATLANTA, GA, July 26, 2019 - Colliers International announced today that Allison Griffin Bittel has joined the Office Occupier Services team as Senior Vice President in its Atlanta office.

"Allison will be a great addition to our Office Occupier team and we're very pleased to welcome her to Colliers," said Jodi Selvey, Senior Vice President and Office Occupier Services Market Leader for the Colliers Atlanta office. "She is well respected in the commercial real estate (CRE) community and has consistently been one of the top female producers in Atlanta tenant representation. In addition, she has been an advocate for connecting women executives. We think she will achieve great things for her clients with the support of the Colliers global platform."

Allison, an 18-year veteran of the industry, joins Colliers from Cushman & Wakefield. She is a native of Atlanta and grew up in the real estate business, learning at an early age from her father, the late Joel Griffin, a well-known local developer. When she embarked on her real estate career in 2001, she was one of a few women in CRE and is considered a trailblazer for younger women in the industry. "I want younger women to know that it is possible to work in this industry and have a family," stated Allison, "You don't strive for balance, but an integration of work and home life."

"Allison's leadership role with Colliers will include pioneering a new, strategic initiative where her expertise and skills in tenant representation will add tremendous value to the Colliers Office Occupier Services team," commented Holly Hughes, President and COO of Colliers International Atlanta.

Allison is a current board member at the Atlanta Commercial Board of Realtors (ACBR), where she leads the Mentorship Program, a key component for building diversity in the commercial real estate industry. In addition, she is actively involved with Holy Innocents Episcopal School. In the past, she has served on the board for Kate's Club and on the Executive Alumni Board for her alma mater, Rhodes College. Additionally, she has served on fundraising committees for Leukemia and Lymphoma's Light the Night Walk and the American Heart Association Heart Walk.

"I am thrilled to be joining the Colliers Atlanta team and excited about what the future holds," said Allison. "This is an excellent opportunity to take on a leadership role and work along side other strong leader in this industry."
