The Rio Rancho Business Community and Economic Recovery Task Force will make recommendations on actions and plans for the near- and long-term health and recovery of the Rio Rancho economy as result of COVID-19.
Colliers International of Albuquerque, Santa Fe and El Paso’s Director of Marketing & Research, Sarah Baiett, was selected to be a member of the Rio Rancho Business Community and Economic Recovery Task Force. The task force will exist for one year, and serve in an advisory capacity to the Governing Body of Rio Rancho.
“As we navigate our current reality due to the COVID-19 pandemic, it is paramount that we look ahead to the reopening and then the recovery of our local Rio Rancho economy,” Mayor Gregg Hull said on the creation of the task force. “As such, I am calling for the creation of a Rio Rancho Business Community and Economic Recovery Task Force to help us build a more diverse and resilient local economy for a post-COVID-19 future and beyond.”
All meetings will be open to the public and follow State of New Mexico Open Meetings Act provisions.
