The Loan Fund recently welcomed two new members to the 15-member Board of Directors!

The Loan Fund recently welcomed two new members to the 15-member Board of Directors, John R. Lewinger and Eric Hall. Mr. Lewinger is founder and qualifying broker of Colliers International commercial real estate firm, and on the board of Stewart Title and Greer Enterprises. Mr. Hall of Albuquerque is a retired attorney who has worked in Indian gaming and rural health care.

The board re-elected Herb Crosby as chairman, Nicholas Nagy as vice-chairman, Manny Ortiz as treasurer and Ida Fierro as secretary. Other members include David Allen, David Hicks, Justin Horwitz, Dar Johnson, Suzanne V. Mirabal, Beth Petruno, Chris Samborski, Ryan Scott and Matt Schaefer.

John Lewinger began his career in real estate as Assistant to the President of Sommer Construction Company, New York
City and New Jersey, where he directed leasing and management of 1,000 apartment units and a 40 story building. In 1975 John moved to the Southwest where he founded a solid career in commercial real estate. As Broker and President of Walker Hinkle Company, John was instrumental in the company’s growth to the third largest real estate company in New Mexico. As Executive Vice President of G.W. Walker and Company, John oversaw the development of over 140,000 square feet of industrial space in a period of two years.
After 25 years at the helm of Grubb & Ellis | New Mexico, John has turned the reins over to the next generation.  John will focus his time on the many facets of real estate and banking to meet the needs of his clients.
