Professional Summary
William P. Fowler, MAI serves as Valuation Services Director for Colliers International Valuation & Advisory Services in Grand Rapids, Michigan. Prior to joining the Colliers team, Will gained extensive real estate experience by heading offices for regional and national companies. Mr. Fowler has extensive experience in commercial real estate valuations on a wide array of local, regional and national investment properties, focused on properties throughout the Midwest including Michigan, Indiana, Ohio, Kentucky and West Virginia. His experience includes a wide array of owner-occupied, single and multi-tenant properties including retail, office, industrial, multi-family and special use properties.
Education
Will attended Ball State University and has successfully completed an extensive amount of appraisal education, including the required courses and experience requirements to qualify for the MAI designation by the Appraisal Institute, which he received in 2016. He has also completed the continuing education requirements by the Appraisal Institute.
Memberships & Involvements
Mr. Fowler is a designated member of the Appraisal Institute (MAI), currently serves on the Board of Directors for the Great Lakes Chapter of the Appraisal Institute. He has also served 2-year term as Region III representative. Prior to moving to Michigan, Will was also an active member of the Hoosier State Chapter of the Appraisal Institute including working on the Finance Committee, Nominating Committee, Chair of the Associate Member Committee, LDAC, Indianapolis Sub-Chapter Chair, Newsletter Editor.
Currently, Will also serves as Scoutmaster for the Mattawan, Michigan Cub Scouts and is a Director for his homeowner's association.
