Todd Scheffler brings over 35 years experience in all areas of real estate to Colliers International but his expertise is commercial retail property. He began his career as a project architect and designer working for several notable architectural firms in Chicago specializing in shopping centers. As an architect, Todd helped design, plan, and build numerous shopping centers, retail buildings, stores, and other commercial projects throughout the country. Through this experience, he became interested in the science and psychology of retail business and consumer behavior. This led to his practicing real estate with the desire to understand how buildings function not just structurally, but economically and financially as well. Todd worked with several notable real estate firms acquiring, analyzing, developing, redeveloping, leasing, and managing real estate assets totaling over $1bn.
Before joining Colliers, Todd was as Director of Real Estate for Macy’s, Inc; managing all real estate business for 135 stores, offices, fulfillment centers, and other support businesses. Prior to this responsibility, he was the Director of Site Development for Federated Department Stores overseeing all development for the company’s 650 property portfolio. During the last two years of his tenure with Macy’s, he helped develop an initiative to methodically analyze all Macy’s real estate for value-creating opportunities and/or disposition equaling over $500M in incremental value to the company.
Todd’s role at Colliers is to help expand the business by offering clients new and alternative ways to reposition the commercial retail property. Todd’s combined experience as both an architect and real estate analyst provides Colliers with a unique ‘left/right’ brain approach to solve problems and expedite solutions for clients across the country. Todd envisions without limitation, expanding and integrating national and local databases of information including GIS, employing financial modeling early in the feasibility process, focusing on opportunity zones and shifting markets, and exploring innovative ways to transform and reposition assets.

Her strategy identifies current market and property inefficiencies to capture untapped value through asset repositioning, releasing, redevelopment, rehabilitation, proactive management, and enhanced marketing.
Creative problem-solving is her specialty, and she becomes a key stakeholder with national and international retailers, such as JPMC, Opry City Stage/Ole Red and Tim Hortons, and many others. Her highly focused approach reduces the risk profile and provides clients with a thoughtful approach executing strategic multi-year planning initiatives.

Previously, Anjee served as Executive Vice President, Retail Services for Madison Marquette. She successfully assisted with repositioning community centers to lifestyle projects and identified opportunities to create value, resulting in higher returns for her clients. She also provided strategic analysis on complex redevelopment projects to address both the asset’s financial stabilization and/or the client’s exit strategy

Anjee is originally from Southern California and currently resides in San Francisco. She is active in the Rincon Hill neighborhood residential improvement group, which participates in the public review of the highly anticipated Salesforce Transit Center in San Francisco.
A resourceful, innovative and passionate marketing professional with a proven successful track record who has more than 16 years of experience in commerical real estate. As an accomplished marketing leader, I am highly regarded for accomplishments in planning and leading comprehensive marketing strategies, managing complex projects, and delivering superior client service. I am currently the marketing and operatoins manager for retail services at Colliers, servicing more than 550 retail professionals.
Prior to Colliers, I was the senior communications point person for CBRE San Diego where I develop and execute superior marketing strategies that aligned with business goals across traditional and non‐traditional media; create/distribute press releases with a record average coverage rate of 98 percent. Before accepting the CBRE role, I was at ICSC for seven years as their research services manager where I over saw global and national events. I also managed managed all creative aspects of the department’s products, services, and programs as well as providing strategic marketing direction for the products through social media, electronic newsletters, e‐mail blasts and other services.
