I have been in the design industry since 2018. I started as a freelancer specializing in branding and creating logos. I interned for Spectrum Reach, then they hired me as a freelancer. From there I expanded my digital design knowledge along with learning how to code in HTML and CSS. From there I got the opportunity to cover a Graphic Designer for the Colliers, Sacramento team. I was noticed for my extensive design skills to being detailed oriented, consistent for staying on-brand, and punctual with my projects. I was given the amazing opportunity to join Colliers, Irvine. I’m highly focused on expanding my knowledge in this new industry and assisting in the continued success for this incredible Retail Capital Markets team at Colliers International, led by El Warner.

As Executive Vice President of Capital Markets, Retail for Colliers International, El specializes in the disposition of large institutional assets across the country. Successfully closing more than $2 billion in transactions, he utilizes his background as a Certified General Real Estate Appraiser and deep-seated knowledge of the industry to maximize value for his clients. He believes brokers must truly understand an asset and be passionate about creating the best marketing plan to create value and separate his team from others.
As an Associate Vice President, partner of the national leadership team, and leader of the strategic partners' group, I specialize in the disposition of quality retail assets across the US. I have broken several national cap rate records since 2017 including the record for the lowest cap rate of a non-grocery anchored shopping center in San Diego county. Prior to joining the Colliers team I quickly moved through the ranks in my three years at Matthews Real Estate to Senior Associate by utilizing my comprehensive knowledge, my ability to fully understand real estate, and my true passion for helping people. I have a unique ability to bring together a buyer and seller in difficult transaction situations with sophisticated buyers and sellers. This ability helps me deliver strong results and record-breaking pricing, despite a softening market, to both regional and institutional sellers.
As a Senior Vice President of Capital Markets at Colliers International, Mr. Simpson has advised clients in the disposition or acquisition of over 150 shopping centers across the Country totaling over $2.7 billion in consideration. Mr. Simpson specializes in the sale of multi-tenant shopping centers with over 40% of his transactions having been grocery anchored shopping centers. Over his 20-year career with CBRE, Grubb & Ellis, Cushman & Wakefield and Colliers International, Charley has finished in the Top 20 for Orange County in 2005, 2006, 2007, 2013, 2015 and 2017. Charley has worked with a broad range of clients, from local private investors to national real estate companies, all with the same client focus of providing exceptional service and results.
As a Vice President and Team Leader of the Private Capital Group at Colliers International, I specialize in the acquisition and disposition of privately owned shopping centers in the Western US. In 2016, I was awarded the coveted Pacesetter award by my previous employer, Matthews Real Estate Investment Services. In 2017-2019, I quickly moved through the ranks by utilizing my comprehensive industry knowledge, tenacious work ethic, and unwavering determination to provide my clients with superior service. This resulted in several National Cap Rate Records for both Shopping Centers and Net Leased Investments.
I have developed a unique ability to find the right investors and communicate to them an assets invaluable story, all while insuring that I hold myself and my team to the highest level of integrity. Our team, led by El Warner, has successfully transacted on over $10 billion of Retail assets, making us one of the Top Investment Sales Teams in Southern California from 2016-Present.
When I am not focused on my career, I like to spend the rest of my time with my loving Wife and family. We are an active bunch, so you can find us hiking throughout Newport Coast, riding our beach cruisers around back bay, or attending F45 & Crossfit classes.
While my career in Commercial Real Estate is just beginning, I have been in the real estate industry in Orange County since 2004. I started as an Assistant Title Rep working with resale and refi transactions moving then to Escrow when the REO and Foreclosure markets were booming. I then transitioned to managing escrows for New Home builders both for The Irvine Company and then for TRI Pointe Homes in Southern California. I’m highly focused on expanding my knowledge in this new area of the industry and assisting in the continued success for this incredible team at Colliers International, led by El Warner.
Michael currently specializes in brokerage, marketing, research, and strategy/business development support for the Colliers Retail Capital Markets Investment Team led by industry veterans El Warner and Charley Simpson. He manages overall operations for the team and collaborates on strategic business planning. He also both writes content and designs various types of marketing materials including broker opinions of value, offering memorandums, flyers, and many other such collateral.
Prior to Colliers, Michael worked alongside seasoned veteran and industry leader, Dixie Walker, at Cushman & Wakefield for six years. He was an integral part of supporting and advising clients in the disposition and acquisition of over 2 million square feet totaling nearly $500 million in total consideration.
Prior to joining Cushman & Wakefield. Michael worked at Lee & Associates Commercial Real Estate for nearly seven years. He started as a research specialist and eventually became the Director of Marketing and Research. He oversaw a department of three people that maintained an internal database of over 15,000 industrial, office, and retail properties in the Inland Southern California Region. He managed statistical compilation and reporting of market data to provide clients and investors insight on the historical, current, and forecast state of the market. Similar to his roles with Colliers and Cushman & Wakefield, Michael was heavily involved in the execution of various marketing materials for over 40 brokers in the office.
Michael also worked for three years as a quality assurance and compliance officer for BP Industries, an importer and distributor of consumer goods (primarily related with home decor). During this time, Michael audited processes throughout the company to ensure compliance with applicable government regulations as well as individual customer specifications. He implemented structured quality assurance and compliance procedures both domestically and abroad in various countries in Asia as well as supported process improvement initiatives.
As an Analyst for Retail Capital Markets at Colliers International, Steven specializes in underwriting large institutional assets across the United States. He is passionate about the numbers and takes pride in finding value for a wide range of clients by utilizing both thoughtful data analysis and high attention to detail. Prior to joining Colliers, Steven worked as an Acquisitions Analyst at TruAmerica Multifamily, where he underwrote large Class B Value-Add multifamily deals.
As a member of the Private Capital Group at Colliers International, I specialize in the acquisition and disposition of privately owned retail centers and net leased assets in Southern California. Prior to joining Colliers, I was in retail sales management learning the ins and outs of what makes a successful retail company in today’s ever-changing environment. My retail management background coupled with a degree in engineering, has provided me with a strong understanding of numbers so I can confidently advise my clients on the best investment opportunity for them. I am effective at anticipating the needs of my clients and promptly providing solution-oriented advice. Our team is proud to be one of the top investment sales teams in the nation having successfully transacted on over $13 billion worth of commercial real estate.
When I am not focused on my career, I like to spend time discovering new restaurants with family and friends. You can also find me practicing yoga, hiking, or driving up the California coast.
