Scott joined Colliers after a successful 20 plus year career as a leading executive in advertising media sales. He brings to Colliers his excellent sales and negotiating experience. Mr. Silverstein has had client-facing roles and adds value to his clients. He has become a huge asset to Colliers with his business acumen, leadership and extensive real estate market knowledge.
Prior to joining Colliers, Scott led the sales efforts for National TV representative Katz media, spearheading sales for over nineteen offices and 100 sellers working with a variety of TV station owners across the country. After leaving Katz Scott was the first SVP/GM for the SYFY Network (owned by Comcast) increasing revenues from $50 million to over $200 Million. Scott then went on to run USA Network with revenues in excess of $600 million. In addition to the Television medium Scott has been involved with a number of internet startups covering a wide range of content categories such as music, fashion and entertainment. With over $3 Billion in complex media transactions negotiated, Scott looks for win-win scenarios for all parties he works with. Scott has worked with businesses from telcom, banking and global brands and a variety of leading companies.
Scott has been very active in fundraising for the Ectodermal Dysplasia Foundation. He is a parent supervisor for Manhasset rowing and Fundraising initiatives for underprivileged youth of Long Island.
Scott is a member of CIBS and LIREIA. He is a Long Island resident for over 40 years and resides in Manhasset.
