Robert is a proven commercial real estate management executive with deep experience in both Corporate Solutions and tenant/landlord representation, demonstrating leadership expertise from both the service provider as well as client perspective. Robert joined the New York office of Colliers International in 2014 after 21 years with Cushman Wakefield.  His keen understanding of New York market was key to his involvement with the lease negotiations on behalf of Ernst & Young at 5 Times Square, NYC (1,062,000 SF).

After business school with an MBA in Global Management, Robert started his real estate career with Edward S. Gordon Company in tenant/landlord representation. He then became a corporate real estate manager for McGraw-Hill, Inc. with direct transaction and real estate management responsibility including McGraw-Hill’s Rockefeller Center headquarters, 11 Broadway and 65 Broadway. He also handled the relocations of large regional offices in Los Angeles, Houston and Atlanta.  


Robert has a solid track record in multi-market global transaction management with nearly 20 years in commercial leasing and account management for clients such as MCI, GTE, KPMG, Forbes, Ernst & Young and Meredith Publishing. He continuously looks beyond individual transactions demonstrating the ability to provide strategic consultative services, leveraging his broad market expertise and deep financial and analytical skills to enable globally business-driven real estate solutions.  On  behalf of his clients he has developed comprehensive portfolio optimization strategies including relocation, consolidation, “rooftop reduction” assuming responsibility for complex financial presentations and approvals. 

Beyond transactional and strategic leadership, for the past 10 years he has been leading client accounts with 200-400 sites, including the day to accountability for the oversight of Regional Transaction Managers, as well as performance management and overall governance.  His account management experience expands beyond transaction oversight to include lease administration and ongoing integration with project management partners.

Robert is known for proficiency at financial analysis and complex financial modeling, preparing financial analyses as part of business case development for such clients as KPMG and Ernst & Young. He also has experience in identifying and securing technical space for telecom and data center clients. 


Originally from Atlanta, Robert holds a business and engineering degree from Vanderbilt University as well as an MBA from The Thunderbird School of Global Management in Phoenix, AZ. He is a member of the Real Estate Board of NY and has taught classes to junior brokers as well as at NYU’s School of Continuing Education. He has served on the boards of several organizations, and most recently served on the Board of Education of Henry Hudson Regional High School in Highlands, NJ.
He is a licensed real estate broker in both New York and New Jersey. An accomplished sailor, Robert resides with his wife and daughter in Atlantic Highlands, NJ.
