Professional Summary
I specialize in flex office and industrial brokerage at Colliers International’s Greenville, SC office. I have many years of experience in the industrial business world and understand the demands that businesses experience regarding real estate. I strive to make the process as smooth as I can for my clients and offer them empathy and knowledge for getting the best space for their needs. I am inspired and motivated by the beauty of business growth. Seeing a company start from a small garage startup and grow into a powerful industry leader is exciting, and I am proud to be able to play a part in helping clients get started in a building of their own.
Accomplishments
I am past President of the Greenville Breakfast Rotary and past board member for the Upstate Children’s Museum, as well as a member of the University of Georgia’s Arch Foundation and. I am also a former Deacon at Covenant Presbyterian Church in Virginia.
I received Colliers | South Carolina’s Community Service Award in 2014 for activities such as an endowment to sponsor students in regional and national sales-based competitions at the University of Georgia’s Terry School of Business Sales and Marketing Department, as well as donations of multiple GED scholarships for Goodwill Industries.
Education
A native of Atlanta, GA, I am a 1975 graduate of the University of Georgia. I received my master’s degree in Business Administration from the University of Hartford in 1992.
Prior to joining Colliers, I was associated with another national brokerage firm for four years and was Vice President of Sales for Hubbell Lighting before that. I have an extensive background in corporate relocation and sales, acquisitions, business development and landlord representation. I hold the Master of Corporate Real Estate (MCR) designation from CoreNet.
Memberships & Involvements
I am a member of the Greater Greenville Association of REALTORS® (GGAR). I received Colliers | South Carolina’s Community Service Award in 2014 for activities such as an endowment to sponsor students in regional and national sales-based competitions at the University of Georgia’s Terry School of Business Sales and Marketing Department, as well as donations of multiple GED scholarships for Goodwill Industries. In 2021, my wife and i set up the endowment at UGA for scholarships to former veterans now attending school there.
I also enjoy the community by learning about its history and hiking the many Greenville trails.
