Richard (Rick) Vaughn has been involved in real estate in Atlanta since 1980. Mr. Vaughn is active in all of Atlanta’s major submarkets representing various tenants/buyers as well as landlord/sellers. He joined Colliers International in 2009 as a Vice President.

 

Prior to joining Colliers, Mr. Vaughn was the Director of Real Estate at HD Supply and a real estate manager at Home Depot. There Mr. Vaughn was responsible for the asset management, disposition, leasing, land sales and development activity. Prior to his career at HD Supply, Mr. Vaughn was the Vice President of Development at Dexter Companies, LLC. There he was responsible for all development activities of land, offi ce, retail and industrial properties. He completed a three-phase, seven office and industrial building complex totaling over 425,000 square feet and valued at over $31 million.

 

COMMUNITY INVOLVEMENT
Mr. Vaughn is an active member of North Fulton Chamber of Commerce and Atlanta Commercial Board of Realtors.

Accomplishments

Recently Mr. Vaughn completed a 496,780 SF relocation and consolidation for Dover Energy System’s (Hill-Phoenix) corporate headquarters and manufacturing facility. This project cost approximately $30 million to build with an opening date of Fall 2013. Mr. Vaughn has been involved in numerous lease and sales transactions for Home Depot and HD Supply to name a few.
 

Since 2006 Mr. Vaughn was responsible for over $350 million in sales, leasing, and development transactions throughout North America. Before 2006, Mr. Vaughn was involved in the leasing and disposition of over 10 major business and industrial and mixed-use parks in metro Atlanta. Mr. Vaughn’s total real estate transactions during his career exceeds $750 million.
