Testimonials

"Our team has worked with Rich Martini and the team at Colliers on several  multifamily  transactions, and  have  always enjoyed our experience .  We appreciated their  diligent  efforts to deliver a successful close  on the sale of  Oak Terrace Apartments  in Walnut Creek for our clients and our company..  We would be happy  to work with them  again in the future.".

David Faucher, CFA, Director of Investments, PTLA Real Estate Group

"Rich was extremely thorough and effective in the sale of our  multifamily asset in Emeryville.  The complexity of the property made for a challenging transaction, which Rich handled with the  utmost expertise resulting in multiple offers.  We look forward to working with Rich and  his team again soon"

Mark Forbes,  Seller

“Rich was tremendously helpful and effective in managing the sale of a complex 12-unit apartment building in Lafayette, CA given to us through the estate of a donor. The issues he had to face were many, including tenant-related challenges, litigation with a neighbor, as well as years of deferred maintenance. Rich assisted in bringing in a new, very capable property manager to manage the property while it was made ready for sale, which significantly enhanced the value of the property. During the sales process, Rich expertly managed multiple buyers and was able to secure a purchase price above asking. Throughout the entire process, Rich was patient, thoughtful, responsive, and a tremendous pleasure to work with”.

Scott Baston, Asset Management and Financial Support Director, The First Church of Christ Scientist

“It has been a pleasure to work with Rich Martini of Colliers International during the recent sale our 87-unit apartment house at 2199 Bancroft Ave in San Leandro, California.

Since this sale was the first time, we disposed of any of our inherited properties, we were especially grateful for Rich’s long experience and knowledge of the multi-family housing market as we navigated during the uncertainty of the pandemic of 2020.  He continues to even now assist us in ironing-out the last financial matters concerning the transition of vendors and utility expenses.

Rich is always cheerful and accommodating, answering messages promptly, and pursuing questions we had before, during and after the sale.  I heartily recommend him”.

Kathleen Pierron Miller, Managing Member, Pierron Properties, LLC

“We could not have asked for a better experience working with Rich and the Colliers team. Their expertise in the market is evident in the returns made for our investors, which affirms our overall investment strategy of investing in growing urban markets,

Peter Wilson,  President, PTLA Real Estate Group

"Rich just sold a five plex for me in El Cerrito.  He did a great job in organizing the property showing schedule, and keeping me informed along the way so that I could notify my tenants. He reviewed each offer, and advised me on the pros and cons of each in order to select a buyer who would close promptly.  Rich is a very thorough and compassionate person.  I would recommend him to anyone thinking of selling their property".

Janet L. Albarico,  Seller

"Rich Martini has been an outstanding broker to work with. He is a great listener and worked diligently to understand our business and our sensitiviites in order to best negotiate on our behalf.  We worked with Rich to acquire a 5.85 acre, unentitled property over a 16-month period.  Throughout this period, Rich's foresight and persistence never wavered, which ultimately led to a smooth and timely closing.  We will continue to use Rich when acquiriinig property in the Northern California area, and look forward to working with him again in the future".

Sam Arico, Assistant Project Manager, Highridge Costa

"It is with a great deal of respect and pleasure that my husband and I recommend Rich Martini and his company for work done with us on the sale of our multifamily  property.  Our apartment building was located at 1620 Lexington Avenue in El Cerrito.  It had been owned by the DePianto family for 34 years.  From our preliminary meeting at the beginning of the process to the the final document signing, Mr. Martini demonstrated a thorough knowledge of the commercial real estate  market, and the current local and state laws and requirements pertaining to apartment transactions.  The sales brochure was beautifully crafted and accurate to the smallest detail.   He visited the apartments numerous times gathering data needed for a successful sale.  Our long term tenants spoke of his good information which helped them through the changes.  Through the negotiations and final sale, he was always present for both the sellers and buyers.  We could not be more pleased with his work and wholeheartedly recommend Mr.  Martini!"

Dino and Susan DePianto,  Seller
