Managing Director, Commercial Services
Paula Clair Smith, CCIM, joined Colliers as a Director of Commercial Services in February 2016 and was promoted to Managing Director by the end of 2017. As a longtime Pinellas County resident, Paula conveys a wealth of knowledge of the local commercial real estate market. Her experience in office, industrial and redevelopment spans 20 years, making her extremely valuable to Colliers and her clients.
Paula has been involved in the Tampa Bay commercial real estate market since leaving a marketing career in 1998. She works with a variety of local investors and business owners along with very special non-profits such as the St. Petersburg Free Clinic and the Tampa Bay SPCA.
Her notable accomplishments include participating in the All Children’s Hospital expansion throughout the Tampa Bay area for the past 17 years, and she continues building alongside as a tenant and buyer representative.
Paula’s insatiable curiosity and expertise in the surrounding communities and Tampa Bay businesses gives her clients, such as GCP Ventures and Houghton-Wagman Properties, an advantage in leasing and sales.
Prior to transferring her skills to the Colliers platform, Paula worked at local brokerage firms. She remains active in identifying and contracting on medical office buildings, industrial/manufacturing facilities, the leasing of multi-tenant complexes and assembling urban downtown blocks for redevelopment. Paula has worked in conjunction with most municipalities in Pinellas County and attributes much of her long-standing success to those relationships.
Paula holds a Bachelor’s of Fine Arts from Miami University and earned her CCIM
designation in 2006.

Christine Daly joined Colliers in Tampa Bay in February of 2019 as a Sales Associate in the company’s Clearwater office. Teaming with Paula Clair Smith, CCIM in commercial services, Paula and Christine form the Smith | Daly Duo of Colliers to assist sellers, buyers, landlords and tenants with any and all real estate concerns ranging from simple to complex.
As a vital part of the Smith | Daly Duo, Christine emphasizes on office and flex leasing in the Mid/South submarkets of Pinellas County. Her analytical background and passion for local market research enables her to assess commercial properties, understand current and potential long term concerns, and guide clients to the best solution.
Senior Client Services Specialist
Laurie Bell joined Colliers International | Tampa Bay in October of 2017, shortly after relocating to the area from the suburbs of Washington, DC. With nearly two decades of experience in the commercial real estate industry, Laurie is a seasoned veteran, having worked with landlords, tenants, sellers, and buyers on properties in every asset class.
Laurie works in Colliers’ Clearwater office, supporting three senior brokers and one junior broker in the disposition, acquisition, and leasing of commercial properties of all types. She is involved in the design and production of customized marketing materials, as well as the administration of the many lease and sale transactions for her team. Her years of experience allow her to successfully manage multiple projects and deadlines for a dedicated and active brokerage team.
Prior to Colliers, Laurie held the position of Commercial Leasing Coordinator at Vanguard Realty Group (now known as Promark Partners) in Rockville, Maryland. In that position for more than 11 years, she provided direct support to the Managing Director as well as the company’s entire team of commercial brokers. A dynamic professional, Laurie prepared legal documents, processed all department transactions, and created promotional and marketing materials, along with a host of other responsibilities. Her dedication and proven performance led to an ever-expanding role within the company, as she also provided support on select projects to Vanguard’s CEO, Principal, and property management.
Earlier in her career, Laurie served as the Office Manager/Senior Administrator at Grubb & Ellis Company for over five years, where she supported a team of six agents, managed the office, and supervised one administrative assistant.
