Professional Summary

Before joining Colliers, Paul Schweitzer was  a founder and the Managing Principal of Serten Advisors, LLC, a commercial real estate firm that served as a strategic business advisor to tenants and occupiers of space. Since entering the business in 1982, Paul has been involved in a wide array of lease, joint venture, build-to-suit, investment and sales transactions totaling over fifteen million square feet. He specializes in financial engineering, innovative transaction structures and negotiating strategies designed to create a competitive environment in order to maximize market place leverage on behalf of tenants across the country. Paul provides his clients with full-service commercial real estate counsel from strategic planning and portfolio management to space acquisition and lease negotiation.

In addition to serving his clients, Paul was a branch manager of the Studley (Savills) Suburban Washington office from 1995 through 2011.


Paul is a recipient of several GWCAR awards, including the Donald C. Rosinski Award for Commercial Leasing and Civic Activities and the Brendan McCarthy Award for his philanthropic activities within the Washington, DC metropolitan area. In 2005, the Lombardi Comprehensive Cancer Center honored Paul with the prestigious Margaret Hodges Leadership Award for his lifelong contributions to the organization.


Paul received a Bachelor of Business Administration degree in finance from the University of Miami

Memberships & Involvements

Paul currently serves on the Board of Directors of U.S. Ecogen, a developer of biomass power generation facilities in Florida. He has been the Gala Co-Chair and Corporate Chair of the Georgetown Lombardi Comprehensive Cancer Center Gala for more than twenty years. In 1999 Paul co-founded the Men’s  Event for Prostate Cancer, benefitting prostate cancer research, and has served as a co-chair and MC for all twenty of the fundraising dinners. He has also served as chair of the real estate affinity group of the Jewish Federation of Greater Washington and on the boards of the Greater Washington Commercial  Association of Realtors (GWCAR), The Friends of Lombardi at Georgetown University Hospital, Georgetown Lombardi Comprehensive Cancer Center. In addition, Paul was elected to the Board of Directors of the Magna Carta Companies in 1995, a group of mutual insurance companies headquartered in New York. He served until the company was sold in 2018.
