Mr. Munoz has been involved in the commercial real estate business for 27 years.
Prior to joining Colliers Appelt Womack Inc., dba Colliers in 2000, Norm worked from 1992 to 1999 with Baca Landata, Inc. (a subsidiary of Stewart Title) and The Baca Group. The Baca companies were the leading local providers for commercial real estate information and as Vice President and Senior Analyst he was responsible for writing the nationally recognized Houston Office Market Guide each quarter, developing new business and servicing clients.
From 1990 to 1992, Mr. Munoz was a Research Analyst with Property Research & Investment Consultants, Inc. responsible for tracking the absorption, lease rates and occupancy each quarter for 1,800 general purpose and medical-professional office buildings. Property Research was the first real estate information company to systematically survey Houston’s office and industrial markets and its methodologies and level of accuracy set the standard for today’s commercial real estate industry.
Norm’s attention to detail, ability to interpret raw data and his market knowledge, coupled with his working experience with the leading commercial brokerage firms, building owners, REITS, developers, property management companies and financial institutions make him an asset to his client’s real estate decision-making process.

Lisa Sims joined Colliers in 2001 as a member of the Office Services Group. She brings more than 23 years of commercial real estate experience to our team. Lisa oversees all aspects of lease and sale transactions from inception through closing, as well as manages the workflow and facilitation of tasks for her team. Lisa has participated in numerous transactions involving office, medical, land and investment properties. She manages the compilation of research materials, creation of marketing and promotional materials, preparation of financial analysis reports, and provides various other brokerage support services to insure the success of each project in which she is involved. Lisa’s strengths are her attention to detail, unique problem solving skills and her commitment to excellence. She has built an outstanding reputation as a dedicated professional with a strong work ethic and has a proven record of providing excellent internal and external results for clients and the members of her team.
Prior to joining Colliers, Lisa was with a smaller boutique commercial real estate firm in Houston. Previous to that, Lisa spent 18 years working with homebuilders in Houston and Austin, where she gained a multitude of knowledge in many different aspects of residential real estate transactions. Lisa is a native Houstonian.
Lisa joined Colliers in 2010 as Director of Market Research and has 37 years of commercial real estate experience. Lisa initiates proactive market research projects to further the business goals of the company. She writes and prepares 29 market reports annually, including quarterly reports on Houston's retail, office, industrial and healthcare properties. Further, she prepares statistical ownership reports for various clients as well as an annual Houston Economic Overview. Lisa also creates PowerPoint market presentations, trade journal articles, and other marketing materials supporting the company's business endeavors. She works with senior management in planning the company's marketing strategy and public relations support for local and national conferences, luncheon meetings, recruitment programs, and special events. Lisa works closely with the company's brokers to develop effective custom market research material specific to existing and potential clients.
Lisa serves on the Colliers Editorial Board, the Colliers U.S. Research Council, and is a recipient of the Colliers Researcher of the Year Award.
Lisa earned the Commercial Property Research Certification (CPRC) from Colliers University. CPRC is the first and only accreditation for commercial real estate research professionals. It offers a professional development path to increase strategic and tactical expertise in marketing/research, knowledge of the industry and capabilities with commercial real estate tools.
Bringing 32 years of experience in commercial real estate, Marilynne joined Colliers in 2018 to provide financial analysis to the company’s leasing and investment sales teams for all types of assets, including the following types of financial analysis:
- lease renewal and relocation comparisons
- mid-term lease renegotiations (“blend and extend”)
- lease buyouts
- sublease disposition/recovery
- build-to-suit vs. design-build
- lease vs. buy
- own vs. sale/leaseback

Prior to joining Colliers, she specialized in advising companies regarding their financial analysis for commercial real estate requirements or investments for 17 years. Marilynne also has a background in commercial mortgage underwriting/loan originations and commercial real estate appraisal.
