My Team
I am a Colorado native and been valuing commercial real estate throughout the nation since 2002. I became a Certified General Appraiser in 2006 and later attained the MAI designation from the Appraisal Institute in 2010. I have been directly involved in nearly all fields of real estate valuation from portfolio work to single asset valuation including market analysis, highest and best use studies, feasibility studies, eminent domain proceedings, litigation support, rent analysis, bankruptcy and foreclosure support, and discounted cash flow analysis using both MS Excel and Argus.
Currently I am the Managing Director at the Denver office of Colliers International Valuation & Advisory Services and began that role in 2008. CIVAS is an international appraisal company within Colliers International. We serve a wide variety of clients from national and local lenders to financial institutions, insurance companies, REITs, pension funds, federal, state and local government agencies, attorneys, developers as well as private individuals. My work has taken me to 29 states and our Denver office primary serves Colorado, but regularly covers Wyoming, New Mexico, Kansas, Nebraska, The Dakotas and Montana.
I began my career as a specialist in self-storage and manufactured housing communities and have since expanded specialty practice work to hospitality and leisure properties. Over the years I have expanded my practice to regularly value a wide variety of property types including multi-family, office, retail, industrial, raw land, mixed use and condominium development, religious facilities as well as various special purpose properties.
I am a Valuation Services Director in the Mountain Region of Colliers Valuation & Advisory Services.
I have been involved in valuation, consulting assignments, and brokerage relating to various sectors of the Commercial Real Estate industry for over 15 years. I have provided valuation and advisory services for estate planning, commercial lending, development feasibility, litigation support, tax appeal, and foreclosure support for a multitude of property types, proposed and existing, including: Corporate Campuses, Flex, Industrial, Office, Retail, Shopping Centers, Net Lease, Agricultural, Multifamily, and Land with an emphasis in the Western United States.
I joined Colliers International Valuation & Advisory Services in June 2009 and was previously a commercial real estate broker for McWhinney, a nationally recognized, master-planned community developer in Colorado.
Work at Colliers since March 2010. Nearly complete with receiving general certification.
