Business Operations Manager | Omaha
Nancy joined Colliers International in June 1993 and has held several administrative positions during her time with the firm. In her current role as business operations manager, Nancy focuses on the day-to-day operations of the firm and ensuring the office is operating in an efficient manner. She continually develops and enforces necessary policies and procedures required of a commercial real estate firm, as well as ensures the company is in compliance with all local, state and federal employment agencies. She works closely with the president/CEO, the managing director of brokerage and the entire brokerage division to make certain things run smoothly. She also oversees purchasing, transaction management, commission processing and the administrative support of several agents.
For 15 years from 1978 to 1993, Nancy was the Executive Assistant for the Omaha Development Foundation and Omaha Industrial Foundation, nonprofit affiliates of the Greater Omaha Chamber of Commerce, that sponsored various real estate development and redevelopment projects in the Omaha area. The Omaha Development Foundation represented the private sector in several complex public/private redevelopment projects, including the land acquisition, demolition, site preparation and financial management of a $40 million pre-construction budget for ConAgra’s 113-acre central city corporate campus and public-park. The Omaha Industrial Foundation owned and sold several industrial park sites in the Omaha metropolitan area, generating over $9 million in land sales in a seven-year period.
