Michael Thomas is an Executive Vice President in the Midtown Manhattan office of Colliers. He focuses on Tenant Representation via the management and execution of large-scale real estate transactions for global clients across the industry spectrum. Michael is a Co-Founder of the Technology and Media practice group, board member of the Strategic Initiative Committee, member of the “International Desk” and mentor to the Rising Stars within Colliers.
Over the past 12-24 months, of unprecedented disruption, Michael has helped his clients create custom strategies to implement significant cost saving measures via consolidation or renegotiation of existing obligations.
Accomplishments
Michael started working with Colliers in 2005 and has spent time in the Property Management, Research and Financial Analytics fields. He has developed a distinctly wholistic skillset given the depth of his background and the unique insights gained from his years of partnering with some of the most innovative organizations and occupiers throughout the country.
Education
Michael earned his undergraduate degree from the A.B Freeman School of Business at Tulane and his M.B.A. at the Leonard N. Stern School of Business at New York University. He pursued a core specialization around business strategy and operations.
Memberships & Involvements
Michael is a member of the Real Estate Board of New York (REBNY), the Building Owners and Managers Association (BOMA), the Metropolitan Museum, and the Museum of Modern Art. At REBNY, he serves on regional office building committees and the Ethics & Professional Practice committee. Michael is a committee member of the Bulldog’s Care Foundation, a not-for profit that supports the development of disadvantaged youth. He also sponsors the Headstrong Project’s Words of War, helping returning veterans receive access to top mental health care professionals.

Aidan Campbell currently serves as a Director at Colliers International and is responsible for both Landlord and Tenant representation. His transactional expertise includes lease renewals, dispositions, and acquisition assignments both in New York City and nationwide.
Jordy Elardo is an Associate Director in Colliers’ Manhattan office, focusing on office leasing.
He actively represents both Tenants and Landlords, with responsibilities in business development, lease negotiation and transaction management.
Having represented companies in multiple industries ranging from high growth technology startups to publicly traded professional services firms, Jordy is experienced in creating unique facilities solutions tailored to accommodate his clients’ requirements. Relevant transactions include working on acquisitions, renewals, and dispositions throughout various asset classes.
I started my carrer at Newmark Boston where I provided transaction services to office and life sciences teams. Prior to Newmark, I interned at AvalonBay Communities focusing on property operations. During my time AvalonBay I lead community tours, tracked market data, and streamlined communications.
