Michael focuses exclusively on tenant representation in downtown LA. After graduating from college, he quickly found commercial real estate and tenant representation to be his passion. On Nathan Pellow’s team, he primarily focuses on business development, property tours, financial analysis and research.
Michael’s strong work ethic, along with his knowledge of the downtown Los Angeles market, creates exceptional value to the team’s clientele. He is a collaborative worker, active listener, and effective communicator. Michael is passionate about helping his clients reach their business objectives and real estate goals.

Nathan Pellow began his career in Commercial Real Estate with Colliers Los Angeles in 1995. Since joining Colliers, he has represented numerous tech and media, financial service companies, law firms and non-profits in over 5.0 million square feet of office real estate transactions throughout Greater Los Angeles. Nathan actively represents office tenant requirements relating to relocation or renewal of leased facilities, as well as assisting commercial building owners and users of office space in sale or lease of their properties. With comprehensive knowledge of Southern California's various office markets and keen negotiating skills, he brings to his clients intense dedication and vast experience.
Nick Nybakken joined the Colliers Downtown LA office partnering with Nathan Pellow & Michael Weiner to help run a leading tenant occupier practice that services local businesses and multi-national corporations on all aspects of their corporate real estate portfolios.
Mr. Nybakken creates workplace-driven real estate solutions specifically tailored to his client's evolving business and real estate needs that effectuate change in employee performance and align a company's facilities with its corporate objectives. His services are occupier-focused and include: workplace advisory, occupancy & portfolio assessments, transaction management, lease restructurings, site selection studies, and acquisition and disposition services.
Additionally, Nick and his team are experts in representing local owner-users and investors to dispose and acquire their commercial office, flex, and industrial properties in excess of over $300 million in transactions across Downtown LA, Culver City, Hollywood, and Burbank.
Since joining Colliers, Mr. Nybakken has represented organizations across all industries and has worked with companies like Coca Cola, The Los Angeles Clippers, SoundCloud, and One & Only Palmilla Resorts.
In his free time, Nick enjoys staying active and spends his time golfing, practicing martial arts, skiing, swimming, traveling internationally, and helping mentor young children through the ACE Mentor Program in Los Angeles.
Michael Weiner is a Senior Vice President at Colliers, overseeing the leasing and sales of office and flex-owner/user properties in the Los Angeles market. As a 30-year veteran based out of the firm’s Downtown Los Angeles office, Michael is adept at providing advisory services to industries across banking & financial, technology, media & telecommunications, professional services and non-profit sectors.
Highly regarded as a strategic professional on the Colliers Office Pellow Team, Michael utilizes his varied experience to secure profitable and advantageous deals for tenants, landlords, investors and developers alike. He is skilled at uncovering unique and untapped opportunities in this dynamic business landscape while maintaining a thorough understanding of his clients’ diversified real estate challenges. What sets Michael apart is his ability to thoughtfully manage a transaction from conception through execution, often providing key data points to help his clients make well-informed decisions. Through his distinct and defined process, he has cultivated strong and communicative relationships to ensure integrity remains at the forefront.
Some of his notable transactions include the opening and expansion of five Signature Bank locations throughout Southern California amidst the pandemic, the 56,000 square-foot sale, lease termination and relocation of Celluphone’s HQ offices, and the lease of a 225,000 square-foot world headquarters facility for Northrop Grumman Corporation.
