Professional Summary
As a Preconstruction Services Manager, my efforts at LCK are focused on the front-end phases of project execution, including estimating, cost management and value analysis which is leveraged to accelerate the planning and design phases of our projects. In addition, I assist in peer review of design and construction documents to identify coordination and/or scope matters that require corrective action.
My background in mechanical engineering allows me to have a unique problem-solving approach and a high level of understanding of the mechanical and plumbing components of building construction. In addition, I leverage my mechanical engineering education as LCK assists in design and construction of manufacturing and assembly related projects.
Through my work as part of the preconstruction team, I help to accelerate the success of LCK’s projects through accuracy in budgeting, creativity in value engineering and quality control during the design process. I am able to make a significant contribution to the on-time, on-budget commitment that LCK makes to its clients.
Education
I graduated from Clemson University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering. Additionally, I am a Certified SOLIDWORKS Professional in Mechanical Design. To earn this certification, I took courses and passed an exam to prove my ability to design and analyze parametric parts and moveable assemblies using a variety of complex features in SOLIDWORKS software.
Prior to joining LCK, I held the role of a quality engineer intern for an automotive supplier. My responsibilities included assisting engineers with data collection and analysis, updating production process flow charts, creating spreadsheets for production volume, collaborating with engineers to solve data collection problems and updating control plans.
