Professional Summary
Originally from Chicago, Matthew relocated to Portland to attend Lewis & Clark College. After graduation, he spent time in Eastern Europe where he was an adjunct professor of literature for four years. Prior to joining Colliers International Valuation & Advisory Services, he held supervisory positions in the social services and semiconductor industries, and was an adjunct professor teaching business classes at George Fox University.
Matthew joined Colliers International Valuation & Advisory Services in 2006 as a member of the retail team. Since then, he has gained significant experience in all retail types from single-tenant NNN properties to regional malls. In addition, Matthew has demonstrated proficiency in vineyards, hotels and other going-concern properties.
In Matthew’s second year as a trainee, he was nominated for the Pietka Scholarship Award, and in his third year he was recognized as the top producing trainee in the Portland office.
