As Managing Director for the Minneapolis and Dallas Markets, Mark Parten leads the Real Estate Management and Facilities divisions, as well as Colliers Architecture and the Colliers Project Management team. Mark’s entrepreneurial approach and ability to provide clients with comprehensive strategic results have resulted in significant portfolio growth, year after year. His in-depth knowledge of the industry and market have been instrumental in expanding Colliers International’s REMS team.
Mark’s comprehensive vision and drive for excellence has helped to establish Colliers’ mission of providing exceptional service while creating value in client’s real estate assets. Prior to his promotion Managing Director, Mark successfully integrated the Real Estate Management division with the Colliers leasing, investment sales, and marketing professionals, providing strategic and innovative solutions to achieve client goals.
Mark’s motivational leadership is responsible for positioning all members of his teams for success on behalf of a diverse group of institutional and entrepreneurial clients. He is skilled at optimizing internal operations and leveraging core strengths and relationships, enabling him to provide direction and leadership for his division.
Mark has over 25 years of industry experience, having managed properties in the Chicago and Twin Cities market. Prior to joining Colliers International in 2005, Mark was employed by CB Richard Ellis, and has worked at Heitman Properties and Kennedy- Wilson Properties in Chicago. Mark’s prior management experience has included Class A and Class B industrial buildings, Class A CBD office high-rise buildings, and Class A suburban office properties.
