Mark C. Anderson has two primary focuses of expertise: 1) site acquisition for  development in the Bellevue CBD together with over 500,000 square feet of CBD retail leasing.  Mark has represented large corporations, law firms, individual owners, investors and trusts, and serves on various advisory committees representing the City of Bellevue .  With over 38 years of experience in the Bellevue CBD, Mark has developed deep relationships together with an impeccable reputation and knows how to get things done in the most efficient manner.  Mark has been involved in every aspect of site acquisition, development and leasing in the Bellevue CBD.  And 2) as a parking broker for Towne Park Parking on a national basis. Mark has undergone two years of intensive parking operations training from Towne Park, the largest valet parking company in the United States. Mark has developed a process by which Towne Park’s hotel clients can achieve significant operational savings in structuring and negotiating their offsite Parking Use Agreements. 


During his career, Mark has been involved in transactions totaling well over $1billion.  Mark has been a Colliers Top Ten Producer for the Puget Sound Region and has been recognized as a Co Star Power Broker.  Mark is recognized as a leading expert on Downtown Bellevue by the media, the City and his peers.  Mark has served on numerous Downtown Committees during his career.  Prior to joining Colliers Mark owned a land development and consulting company.



Notable Transactions

With Towne Park, Mark performed the Analysis, Research and Negotiation with various potential locations on behalf of the Downtown Phoenix Sheraton hotel…the largest hotel in Arizona… in order to relocate 260 of their employees offsite to another location, saving the Sheraton a substantial sum.  Also with Towne Park Mark successfully initiated a similar procedure for the Le Meridien Hotel valet operation in San Francisco.

For Black Press, one of the largest newspaper companies in North America, Mark coordinated the sale and redevelopment of their 100,000 sq. ft. King County Journal Newspaper Headquarters in Kent, WA to LA Fitness.  He sold their Little Nickel facility in Lynnwood for redevelopment to Bartells Drugstores.  In that same year Mark relocated the Black Press Regional publishing facility to an 86,000 sq. ft. building in Everett together with negotiating 24 facilities leases on their behalf.

Mark was the Exclusive Broker for E&H Properties for many years.  He headed the evaluation, leasing, sale of surplus properties, expansion, acquisition, redevelopment and entitlements for the largest property portfolio in the Bellevue CBD spanning 10 acres and  known as the Bellevue Superblock.  Mark currently consults for Wasatch Property Management, the new owners of the Bellevue Superblock.

Schroeder Properties relied on Mark to arrange the site acquisition from Puget Power and to act as exclusive leasing broker for the Bellevue Galleria.  With his help, this 168,000 sq. ft. multilevel urban entertainment retail center in the Bellevue CBD opened 100% preleased.

The Bates family depended on Mark to oversee the large Bates Oil Bellevue CBD Portfolio these past 15 years, which has been in the Bates family for 72 years.

Cosmos International selected Mark 22 years ago to represent them on their Bellevue CBD Portfolio, on acquisitions and on retail leasing…recently leasing their shopping center on Main Street to Sports Authority.

Inslee Best Dozie and Ryder Law Firm…the oldest and one of the largest law firms in Bellevue selected Mark and his team to represent them in their recent full floor office tower relocation.
