Over the 30+ years of Bill’s commercial real estate career, he has gained experience in a wide range of commercial real estate work but has a primary focus on industrial, semi industrial and intense retail properties and land. Bill joined Colliers International Central Florida in February 2009, transferring from Carter Orlando where, for many years, he was a top producer.
As a top producer with Carter and its antecedent companies since 1989, Bill has represented buyers, sellers, landlords and tenants in commercial real estate transactions totaling hundreds of millions of dollars.
When representing landlords or sellers:
Bill’s marketing background (he was once the owner of a marketing/advertising agency and has a degree in marketing) helps him to find and solicit the best prospects for the properties of his clients. “You can’t sell commercial real estate,” he says, “you have to find the right buyer or tenant and guide the lease or purchase process through to the finish line. That’s where the real work, is and where experience matters most. No one knows all the answers,” says Parke, “and they’re never the same from transaction to transaction. What is important is to know the questions and how to get the answers.”
When representing buyers or tenants:
Parke says: “Finding the best property is never easy but it’s the easiest part of the commercial real estate purchase or lease.” Evaluations of the property, verification of value, identifying the issues that must be considered….these are the part if the acquisition process that benefit from experience. Parke’s 30+ years of experience have given him the knowledge to find the right properties, identify the issues and work through the problems to complete a successful transaction.
