Principal and Treasurer | Hartford and New Haven
I solve business and commercial real estate problems for my clients. Users in the Connecticut and western Massachusetts oftentimes have limited alternatives and property owners face their own set of obstacles. I enjoy a challenge and strive to serve their needs via creativity and market knowledge with a commitment to service excellence.
In addition to my extensive experience in real estate I think my experiences as a business owner and manager are fairly unique and provide additional benefits to clients. My clients include real estate investors, locally owned companies, large corporations and non-profits. I understand there are other organizational issues that impact real estate decisions and my business experiences as well as the experiences of other clients provide a wealth of knowledge and insight. The final solution may be transactional real estate in most cases but there is so much more involved and an understanding of the wider perspective is critical. Those include the many phases in the process including defining the problem, developing criteria, searching for and choosing alternatives, negotiation, deal structure and finalizing the solution. Perseverance with a clear strategy to the desired outcome is critical to success.
I have also enjoyed serving on the boards of various non-profits as well as my for-profit work. In addition to the positive experiences at each of the organizations I have learned some additional skills for use at my day job. So much of the non-profit work is by committee which requires a higher level of communication, involvement of the team as well as building consensus. I hope to continue to provide memorable service to clients as well as increase my knowledge and skills.
